I've never played mania in my life and viewing gameplay footage of it is as entertaining as watching paint dry, but this video made me laugh, good content
God I love jacks, I love them, they are fun and lovely and oh my- thank god jacks themselves are not a physical being or else I would try to marry them.
as someone who has never played mania or even heard of it, I still found this video interesting despite the fact that I knew absolutely nothing about it. Besides what you taught me in this video, so bravo for that.
Honestly, that last one was very helpful, I was scared of Ghost Tapping because I heard it getting conflated with soamming, so I had the impression that if I did any extra taps in the middle of the notes, it would basically be the same as spamming, but if it's actually acceptable, I can actually learn to use it to my advantage!
I can literally for the life of me not comprehend half of the patterns on screen lmao, its the main reason why I cant play any other Rhythm games beside FNF and the silly Miku one
as one of the only SV mains to exist on this earth i can say 2 things ... 1. the SV in a lot of games is horrible cuz they don't give u enough options for adding SV types into them ... and 2. u only play a map 1000's of times if u want to get a super high acc on it ( most SV mains don't care a ton about acc ) or if its a memory SV type map which most SV isn't memory a lot of SV u can just kinda play as long as u under stand how different kinds of SV work ... now sure if you play a map for the first time even if u can pass it it might not be as good as a score as if u played it multiple times even if u aren't going for a high acc and u improve over time but atlest for passing maps a good % of them u can pass first try or with in a few trys without much effort put into it
LMAO i forgot about this video even tough i watched it before, im sorry if you think i copied you, i tried making more like a soundsmith tf2 stereotype video, this video is great, keep doing content because i would love to see it
Np in takin insparation its what every youtuber does (i literally got this video idea from living ironically in europe), keep makin content and dont give up, mania really needs more content creators rn and if u need help u can ask me
im only a beginner (2*-3*) but, i can already see signs that i might be a accuracy and SV main TT (and i know damn well that restarting every miss or playing the same map over and over is a bad habit but damn)
as a reformed hater, i actually really like LN charts, sure there's alot of them but i think it's because they are so versatile and honestly enjoyable, going back to speed / rice maps honestly feel boring since it's just the same pattens the whole time whereas LN spices things up
What about the people who just try to clear ridiculously hard maps, I like doing that and change basically everything about my playstyle to do so. I can like mentally switch to "survival mode", lol.
I can play speed, tech and ln but dont get how to play dense jacks even on low bpms like 100. My hands literally desynchronize while playing chordjacks and I start to columnlock everything.
quaver sv main/mapper here sv's there a crazy because there isn't only a positive speed but the negative too so you can do stuff like bouncy notes or even splitscroll which is hella fun
Bro, I'm trying to learn LN after two years of playing mania and it's horrible. I can play speed, chordjacks, Jumpstreams but no LN. LN is for me the coolest skill to learn in mania. But I fucking hate the learning progress...
As a speed main I poop my pants whenever I have to press a note for longer then 50 ms It could be becauae I mained Flash Flash Revolution when I started rhythm gaming
7:16 yeah, can confirm, spent 3.5 months on an extreme demon and that was cool. i used to be an accuraccy and speed player before moving to geometry dash, so i guess some of my skill transferred from mania to gd lol.
I was a jack main and I can confirm that I have skill nowhere but jacks. I have no stamina, I have no speed, I have no accuracy and I have no tech, but I have literally insane vibro (comparing to other skillsets). I tried to main speed but it was literally like 1:10. Now I'm trying to main tech+acc on easy maps with J7 in Etterna. I sucked as much as now only when I downloaded StepMania first time. My MA and RA are awful, sometimes I had less ridiculouses than marvelouses or perfects lmao
1:09 They can play the hardest vibro map but struggle on a damn 4* JS or HS map. Like bruh 💀. Glad I'm somewhat well rounded (even tho I'm stamina main)
I’ve been a VSRG player since like 09 an Ngl when mania finally came to osu I never liked noodles cuz my first vsrg (ffr) didn’t have them an I was basically a stamina main ig? Feels more like I worked on speed an stamina but everythin stopped hurtin after a few years but I still have a sad speed cap so meh.
?????????????????????? I don't remember what kind of chart I preferred back when I played Stepmania, only that I wasn't fast enough to beat Vertex Beta.
I mean at least in My country which is Indonesia.......Noodles (Instant one) is Cheaper than Rice.....also we ate Noodle mixed with Rice....So make sense I guess?
