it's so crazy how they all look like the same when the show started, and seeing all the other characters who died and back again is soooo amazing and emotional.
i think like how i met your mother, was pre rcorded, they pre recorded this as well, because the actor that plays cal(jack masina), is the same as he was in the pilot, in later seasons he did grow up a little before bringing in the actor that older version of him
I still can’t get over Olive and TJ’s relationship. The sadness on his face knowing he can’t date her now 😕. I’m happy and sad that this ending happened because everybody got along so well in the alternate future timeline 😭
He got his mother back, and considering she was the only family he had before he got on the plane, I'm pretty sure he's over the moon that he gets more time with his dear mother. I liked TJ and Olive, and who knows, maybe there is a point in the future where they potentially becomes FRIENDS.
Welcome to the club 😅 my brain is 😨😱😲 and I cried and laugh so much. I never saw a tv show like that. But I think we need saison 5 or spin-off. Or both, because this last episode make so much questions.
I need to understand is since they have their memories intact will they still be able to predict some of the traffic rings and other stuff that happen in the future etc
This was literally the only way, and the perfect way to end it. I’ve been thinking tho, imagine they returned to the day they was supposed to land but they was all older…. Like the opposite of what happened when they landed 5 years later but didn’t age. But I’m happy with the way they ended it.
So are we going to ignore the fact that the alternative reality still exists and they had a choice to stay there or have a do over? In other words, they disappeared from the other world, leaving everyone else behind (though I do suppose they didn't have a place there anymore anyways)
My theory is that it existed but when they passed the final test, that is, "forgiveness" they traveled in time to the moment they should have seen it landed.
@@bettinamanrique7237 I don't feel it was rewritten I believe in alternate realities and they made a lot of choices that affected that reality be ause why else would it be rewritten and they were able to come back with some of the relics and their memories intact could you imagine being future olives case and walking up having both parents greet you with a smile I would prefer the alternate reality and here saying farewell to her family, friends and love ones
it’s definitely unclear as to exactly what happened. either the world was saved and the passengers got sent back to an alternate timeline, or the world truly did end. morbid either way imo. idk, people seem to be loving the ending, but I really don’t like it. they wrote the characters all being happy and relieved, but in reality half of them would be mortified that they lost the world that they lived in for the last 5 years the woman that gave birth in the detention center lost her daughter. Hope doesn’t exist anymore. Eden doesn’t exist anymore. it’s cute to have everyone be happy that they have a chance to reset, like somehow the baby that Ben and Grace will have will be the same person Ben loved for the last 5 years, but that’s not how it would actually go down. a good deal of the passengers would be forever tormented by what they had and lost
What I think is that they went in the future, Olive will grow up and fall for TJ, Eden will be born in the coming years, Jared and Drea will have a baby, Michaela and Ben's mother will die of illness and their mother will suffer from stroke, all these natural things will again happen in the coming years except for all of what they faced and all those minor details. Like they didn't go to the alternative world, they went to their future.
TJ and Olive are not gonna date eachother, it's clear where he sees Olive as a kid and just smiles and moves on with his life, i think he got to live his life like the rest of them. date, fall in love, get to sees his mom.
@@WarGrowlmon18 They returned to their original timeline, where the plane hasnt been missing, basically they just landed when they were supposed to land in the first place thats why everything is the same as when they took off in episode 1.
@@erenakay8873 Exactly. Now they have the chance to create a new future, a new timeline. None of what they experienced will ever happen again. They can change it all
Nothing confusing about it whatsoever, they did good and got a second chance at life by going back to the time they disappeared as if that never happened. But I might understand your confused part were the other 11 disappeared however we all know what happened and why they died and didn't get a second chance.
I tried watching this show for two seasons until it devolved into a soap opera. Didn't bother watching it at all with the "As the World Turns" story lines. You chose well.
Wonder if time travel or whatever happened here really happened they look exactly the same when the show first started makeup isn't that good right? Well I'm just glad they got their happy ending was so glad Zeke came back to Michaela her soulmate I was hoping the first thing she would do is go find him he may not remember her but I believe they'll get married again still confused on what happened but I'm just glad it all ended well
am i the only one who sees how morbid this ending is? one of two things happened: 1) the passengers saved the world and got sent to an alternate reality where they pick up where they would have or 2) the entire world reset to 2013 with the passengers. problem is, if it’s scenario 1, then dozens and dozens of passengers were unwillingly ripped from lives they had found happiness in and will be forever tormented by what they had and lost. like the young woman who found love and gave birth in the detention center who now does not have her baby daughter. if it’s scenario 2, then the world we watched for the last 5 years truly did end, and the passengers were the only ones who escaped aboard their lifeboat listen, I know the writes had Ben be all happy that he and Grace get to have a third kid. but that Eden can’t ever be the same Eden. Olive isn’t the same Olive. your brain would psychologically reject the idea that they were
They could never stay in that timeline though. It was either pass their test and go back to 2013 or the whole world is destroyed. The other world doesn't go on without them, it no longer even exists.
I really was sad because of all that those four seasons bring to some passengers like birth of the child of this woman in detention and also Drea ! Because ok we see that Jared is having a crush but for how long. Also i cried af because Olive will never know TJ and TJ is potentielly having a crush for Cal woman and i really don’t like this wtf. Also I liked Ben and Saanvi kind of destroyed romance and finally the fact that Vance didn’t remembered about Ben and also Cal or Olive never remembered what happened… that just broke me. It is a kind of good ending but also when we cried so much for so many shared moments it is just awefull and not fair !
@@nirachien2274 well they did pass their test, and the world still ended anyway. being wiped from existence is no different than being blown up by a volcano - if it’s gone, it’s gone. this is a new alternate world. and of course they could have stayed in that timeline, if the writers chose to. pass the test and stop the volcano, land, and have the whole world celebrate the passengers as heroes. their whole ordeal would become a modern day biblical event passed down through recorded history forever, probably passing into myth just like all the other ones. and one day in the future a new group of people would face the same test
Manifest is a nice series which NBC killed ineffectively at the end of Season 3. Some of the dialogues left something to desire: "Were not moving." "I'll check it out" and "Are we in Heaven?" "I think we're in Queens." When in Queens, you can't be farther removed from Heaven. Queens is the portal to Hell. It's the borough that spawned Major o/t Year 2001 Rudy Giuliani 🤪
What an ending…. Perfect 🤩🤩🤩. But what about the main pilot?? Because some people who were dead, they came alive.. so i was thinking he would come alive too but he didn’t.
They were in the shine (heaven, purgatory, paradise, whatever you call it) they time traveled between the past and the future and they landed 5 years late and the whole series happened but how did they forgive they received a second chance, this time they returned to the moment they should have originally returned.
They would have easily walked away from the show....At least they have resurrected the show for this half happiest ending..... More confusing but not much dissappointed
Daly won't be the part of the missing because he was the captain if he goes missing that can start another 4 seasons of manifest 😂 so he surely has to be alive and not missing, atleast this is what I think.
Daly is def alive. It was mentioned that Fiona returned who is the same case as Daly p much. Only peeps who didn't return were 11 passengers that got judged. 8 of those likely all from Angelina's group, the lazy bastard from Ben's group + 2 offscreen ones.
@@royalboy850 I belive it was just random god chose 828 randomly the 2024 timeline no longer exsits though and if the characters do everything right that timeline won’t ever exsist and they will only try to recreate the good ones
@@Lunafroyo doubt it vanished, since pieces of it still exist. It still exists as an alternative reality. They could have stayed there but flew into the white void instead.
@@thomasdaka9920 sucks for the young woman who gave birth in the detention center. i’m sure she’ll live a happy life in her new reality without her baby daughter all because Mick made a decision without her consent
