I've been waiting for this vlog forever lol. Worth the wait though. Lot of useful information for people wanting to move to Manila and seeking a luxurious place to stay in without breaking the bank. The apartment looks spacious inside with the high ceiling. The price is on the expensive side for most of Filipinos but definitely way more affordable than the other places you'd shown us before and it's located in a great area. As always, thank you for another great vlog!
I've stayed at a Gramercy airbnb and the building is nice. I live in a similar modern high rise in Manhattan near Central Park. A one bed. Rent is $4020 a month. And rents are expected to go up by 25% this year. I think the sq footage of my one bed is a little larger. Perhaps 650-700sq ft. But I'd say you're living a western lifestyle for a small fraction of what is costs in other global cities. I'll be in Cebu next week. I think the condo rentals are even cheaper there. Keep up the vids. They're enjoyable and informative.
Cheers for the info / comparison. There are other condos in the likes of BGC around 700sq ft that you can get for about 40k. In great buildings, good amenities and excellent locations. For 4kusd a month you could rent a nice condo, eat out 3 times a day, party every night.. and still have change left over.
Hey Paddy, just wanted to say really enjoying your videos 👍 I've just bought a condo in Pasay and will be moving there from Scotland in January - keen to move my channel to vlog style too. Your videos are great and showing Manila really well so thanks for that, keep it up! 🙌
Thanks for showing us your little abode, it’s pretty nice! With a spectacular view, and for 35k, not bad at all. But, yeah, I would want a little more equipment in the kitchen, I’d probably get a ‘pimped out’ toaster oven lol! I’m from California, they do make small ovens that people use in tiny houses and for recreational vehicles (mobile homes). Overall, still a pretty swanky place, plus all the amenities that come with the building. Livin’ the good life, man!
Nice condo buddy. I’ve got something very similar in South Forbes, Cavite. One bedroom 36sqm cost me ₱2.6m to buy. Condo dues is ₱3k per month. Water is ₱279 per month. 50mbps fibre internet is ₱1,899 per month. I’ve got exactly the same aircon unit as you. It was a great buy and my electric is just under ₱4k per month. Also got an air fryer, great bit of kit and makes up for not having an oven. Also love a big fridge so purchased one of those big American style fridge freezers for around ₱70k. Fully kitted out only thing I’m missing is a balcony but I love going up to the roof in the evenings with a beer as you can see for miles in every direction which is the beauty of living on the top of a hill 😃
@@olijfcadiz4231 it’s the Stanford Suites condos. I purchased mine before it was built and paid in cash to get a big discount. I think if you were looking to buy one now they’re around ₱4m. Berkeley Suites is the next one they’re building now so you might be able to bag a bargain by purchasing there before the building is completed 👍🏻
Hello Paddy do you stopping doing new Videos in RU-vid ? im Jan we met in Forbestown when you was drinking coffe with your american friend. regards Jan from Switzerland
Hello amigo. Very nice condo. Thanks for all the information you are giving, very helpful. Only 2 questions. Internet is included in the rent in this condo? And How do you sleep at night? Is quiet enough? Thanks
When renting it’s nearly always included. As contracts for Internet is usually 24 months. High up and quiet. So many empty condos there I rarely have neighbours
If you’re high up doesn’t really matter. Low down on the east side would get traffic noise. I prefer sunset 🌇 garden/mall side. Some people prefer sunrise on the other.
