Haven't witnessed some of the photos but looking back in time make you feel something different, seeing places that you hasn't born yet is absolutely amazing. It's my home that I missed for 4 decades so much!
Hello Jaclyn, I was the General Manager of the Metro Manila Transit Corporation who conceptually designed the routes, the kind of service and the system it used in order that the riding public would accept the "air con service" as it was a new mode of transport within Metro Manila at that time. I saw to it that the bus was clean and cheap so the riding public will enjoy the ride. I am glad to know that you liked the service. I left Metro Manila Transit Corporation in the early part of 1986....Col. Jose Mendoza ( ret.)

I remember the small 7-seater jeepneys, wooden body JD and MD buses and even the white-colored DM "flying coffin" buses so-called because the travel so fast along EDSA as if there was no tomorrow. I also remember the double decker Matorco buses plying Dewey, now Roxas Boulevard.
