Nice video that confirms my impressions of this knife. With this steel, you get what you pay for. It may not be as well finished as other knives, but it has its charm. On mine (camo version, one hand) the blade is perfectly centered. Very cool.👍🇨🇵👋

I have the Manly Wasp in 12C27. Manly is like a needle in a haystack, among production knife companies. Production knife companies are too busy overbuilding knives and sometimes you have to go custom to find a knife that cuts.

I just got this knife with the red and black g10. The same with the hole. It definitely has a burr around it. Also it has two spots of something on the blade , I’m gonna try and polish them out. Thanks for sharing

I have three Manly knives in D2 which I have been very pleased with. I would like to see a test of their D2 steel. If you like the Wasp model they also make a model called the Comrade with a 31/2 inch blade and G-10 scales for around 50.00 with D2. You would need to order this knife from the factory in Bulgaria because the U.S. distributor does not stock this model.

@@Outpost_76 The U.S. Manly distributor's name is Lubo. Send him a email and see if you can get one for review. The Canada distributor has given Kevin Cleary at least one knife for review. Hopefully, this information is helpful.

Its 3.75, I dont usually cover actual measurements. I do want to try a Wasp.

Small batch production and high demand. As fast as they come in stock they sell out again.

Thank you for nice video. If you compare it with Endura and Rat 1, which one would you prefer for EDC regarding blade geometry, ergonomics and weight?

What are you going to be cutting? The Peak cuts things easier than the Endura or Rat. Look at all things, the Endura in ZDP-189 is hard to beat, the Peak will cut materials easier than the other 2 and the Rat 1 is much cheaper but will handle a wider range of cutting tasks. The peak and Endura weights are close and the Rat 1 is about an ounce more. Qhat you do with a knife would sway which way I would go.

@@Outpost_76 Thanks a lot! My usually tasks are food and packaging in the city. I'm looking for lightweight slicer. Which I can take additionaly to the rigid knife by trips into the nature

@@antongoidenko2920 for as inexpensive as the Rat 1 in Aus-8 is us try that first. It cuts well enough, is strong and easy to field sharpen.

@@Outpost_76 Thank you for fast reply. I have Rat 1 already and love it. But it is a bit to heavy fir EDC especially in the summer. More or less I'm trying to find out what is better Spyderco Endura, Cara Cara 2 from Byrd or Peak from Manly
