Boxing just isn't the same without Manny. God, I miss the HBO 24/7s, the whole pre fight build up, the crazy press conferences, the training, staying up till 6am in the morning just to see Manny fight. It's nostalgic seeing Manny with Buboy.
It's not the same. It evolved and just as great as before. Just be glad we witnessed this era of boxing it was great. Past is the past thoe. New era now
@@josephbfunchesiv9041 Just as great as before? We now have more blatant fixed fights than ever, young fighters not willing to fight each other, then u have these youtube boxing shenanigans. How long have u been watching boxing?
@@alohaemeli Now that youtube boxing ish I CANT STAND. Fyi been watching boxing since the late 90s. Just because it's not how YOU like it anymore doesn't mean it's not great. I refuse to sound like everyone else complaining about nowadays boxing. It's a new world new era. Nothing stays the same
@@josephbfunchesiv9041 Boxing is definitely evolving in terms of skills but what I can't stand nowadays is the best don't fight the best, and big fights keep on delaying. It's rare to see trilogies and rematches nowadays. It isn't as exciting anymore, I loved it when Mexicans made the sport a gladiator game, a battle of the best in their land. Despite of presence of social media, people don't talk that much about boxing anymore. No more cool barbershop talks anymore about boxing. RU-vidrs' boxing made more splash in this sport actually IMHO.
Team Pacquiao then, now and always. No matter what happens, Team Pacquiao will always be boxing's Greatest of all times. One Canadian here supporting you !!
Nice to hear Mr. Canadian fan. Quick question how does it feel supporting the greatest ducker and cherry picker that’s ever laced up a pair of gloves? Ducking and cherry picking are the ultimate weapons of a cowardly boxer. Why does Manny have over 17 times ducking the winners of of a fight only to cherry pick the losers? Why go after the weakest opponents possible? Why?
@@ernestocarrillo7 This is not Pacman's decision. The promoter have to make money and this is business. And promoter's from the other side are just waiting to get an offer from them win or loss still they make money out of it. Him and Canelo were also rumored to set for a fight(Arum pick Bradley instead) Arum will make more money out of Manny's line out of fights instead of going to a one big fight, which makes more sense when it comes to a business perspective. And please, name those 17 boxers that Manny avoided, let see if you can remember 17 that will be good for you, remember 10 not bad at all, remember 5 your memory is declining and not good for you.
@@mr.brightside6576 Who did he duck? He fought the best of the best on his time. The longest p4p king number 1 and the longest reigning p4p the pacman
@@gilbertngetich211it was just yesterday i said people just be talking, less than 48 hours ago i saw someone say devin haney is too big for ryan garcia 🤦
@@mikefitzpatrick43 True. I think it would benefit Manny to get someone who is knowledgeable in a more scientific approach to training. At his age, body recovery and efficiency of activity is needed.
I think Pacman still has it all. I wonder where his great stamina is coming from. How inspiring to see him still thriving up to this date despite of his well off status.
Its known fact that athletes, especially those who train absurdly hard like boxers, often retain a lot of their physicality even when past prime (so long as they don't derail themselves with poor health choices). Manny, however, was known for going above and beyond in physical training. Thirty six rounds of sparring per session, an hour of straight jump rope a day, several kilometers of running per camp, five thousand curl up daily... he set himself up in his youth to still be strong and able in his older years. And this beats out the steroids allegations too, as those substances would degrade physical conditioning with time. Yet here is the PacMan, still as strong as the day he retired.
@@fcbballer1032 Honestly, fair. With a proper training camp too. Unlike when they first fought, Manny had trained for Spence until Errol backed out on an eye injury and was retasked with taking on Maidana.
He's never gained a lot of weight between fights and never allowed himself to get badly out of shape. So when he does start training he doesn't hafe to start from scratch. Not many bad habits either
i am blessed to witness a man like you mr. senator this holy week. napanood ko po videos mo sa yt ..nagpapasalamat ako kay Lord kasi dami ko natutunan about sa buhay and buhay Kristyano thru you po and I'm praying for you and your fam po Pagpalain pa po kayo and your team!
