@@thedhive6512 Prime Pac despite the losses is almost unstoppable wdym. Delusional, do you really think Ugas could win prime pac? His face got beat by an old pac wdym.
Without a doubt, Mannys hand speed is still there. His ability to take a punch for a man his age is also amazing. But obviously his agility, side-to-side movement and footwork are gone. He's getting hit with punches that he once dodged easily, father time has finally caught up with him.
He obviously lost this fight but for a 42 year old to get his feet in 12 round? Mtf he is absolutely a legend. Pac is not just his country's pride but a world boxing pride. Salute!
@@gabrielesquaratti5709 it's more easy to fight on heavy weight though, no side to side movement, footwork etc, just standing in the center punching. All you need is a strong punch, less stamina needed
@@rigo.acosta No excuses, but most fighters past their prime will retain their punching power but not their foot work or their speed. Heavy weights rely more on power unlike pac's weight class which requires a lot of ring coverage and punch volume to stay competitive, which is very rare to see at his age.

If you think about it, Oscar De la Hoya was much younger than Pac in his last fight and he's performance is a lot worst. Given his age and fighting style, it's actually a miracle that Pac was still able to perform at this level in this stage of his life.
@@TheMkbat True but that's also Pac's first time fighting in a weight class beyond his limits. Oscar drain or not, is still the bigger man with full experience fighting bigger men as well.

@@holyflame2Oscar being bigger meant nothing since the weight cut sapped his strength and stamina. And Manny actually weighed more than Oscar on fight night if I remember correctly.

Man, I'm gonna miss this guy. He was one of the only ones in this boxing generation who had actual decency in and out of the ring and fought like a fighter and not like some runner
Y’all always find a way to hate on Floyd 😂, unlike Floyd this manny paq always Making excuses when he loses, you only see what’s televised you don’t know what Floyd does out of the ring

Manny's quick in and out movement, ring generalship, angles were gone after the 2nd round. he is clearly hurt. But it could also be due to his age. Still not a bad showing for a 42 year old boxer. Legendary Pacman
he didnt level with ugas's gas usage. manny too excited that round 1 & 2 step on it which he normally does too if the other boxer exchange but ugas was reserved picking his own pace. add to it his age and all disadvantages no wonder he lost but it still a good fight made ugas rearrange his face even with a loss. prime pac'll beat him easy.
With no proper training camp. Young and prime boxers know the importance of a strong training camp for their opponents style. Manny took the fight with less than 2 weeks notice and did exactly what you said. The difference is they gave Ugas a decision win over Manny but didn’t give him the decision over Porter. Ugas knocked down Porter as well.
Tyson got beaten badly in his last fight and he knew he lost in the fight beforr it even started, and Manny showed in his last fight that he is a true warrior, both of them knew the motivation and drive is not there anymore. Thank you for such great memories❤
That's what nobody gets. Manny Pacquiao was going to fight someone completely different. But the guy got into a car crash and Manny Pacquiao couldn't fight him
He still is explosive his foot work isn’t as good but look at ugas face plus ugas is pretty good him and Spence had a good war he almost knocked Spence out in the 6th round that shows ugas has plent of power he never even wavered manny
@@caseymckenzie3951 that's because spence got careless when he lost his mouthpice and ugas took advantage of it. spence vs ugas was a demolishing job. it wasnt a competetive fight. spence would have brutally beaten manny to retirement.
Yeah.. ugas was expecting this, thats why his sparing partner was a southpaw( shakur stevenson)while his opponent before replacement was fabian maidana an orthodox.. ugas was ready for this.. while pac trained for spence that is a shouthpaw too while ugas is an orthodox fighter.. but still pac gave a good fight at his age.
I don’t think Father Time I just think ugas fought a good war an was a huge welterweight manny obviously isn’t prime but he could still beat most welterweights ugas has a great chin look at how swole ugas face is at the end he was just a good fighter with a great right hand and that’s always gave manny trouble like Marquez with his right people lose that’s boxing especially when u fight the best available and don’t cherry pick

His legendary legacy was already established prior to this fight. This fight had no effect on Mannys legacy even if he was knocked out this fight it wouldn’t have tarnished his career at all boooy.
I think he’s the best of his era never ducked no fighter all the way to the end only knocked down once in a 20 year period in America in all the wards he was in including the fact he was always the smaller guy Floyd can say he’s undefeated but he cherry picked his whole career he fought berto for his last fight manny was going to fight Spence at 42 he fought Thurman at 40 I couldn’t cheer for a man I knew was purposely waiting for fighters to get past there prime
ugas doesnt deserve to wear that belt, all them wars that manny fought with them great mexican boxers, and ugas couldnt even knock him out, manny was 42 years old,how pathetic
if spence is up against pacquiao, spence will probably lose because pacquiao's training for spence suddenly replaced ugas so that. but even though he wasn't very prepared, ugas still got a wound on his face ahhaahaha
Lol you don't judge the winner by the wound on their face, Floyd no wound on his face after he fought Pacquiao so is that an easy win for Floyd? And besides Pacquiao's face looks worse than Ugas' after the fight
Ugas beat Porter tho so itll be an interesting match. Ugas been getting robbed a lot, hes a legitimate boxer hes just not american thats why he doesnt get the respect and attention in the Welterweight division.
Ugas has lot of advantages the size, reach, age.. But still he cant even knock out manny, and give him a goodfight, if only manny 5 or 10 years younger ugas will fell asleep

An almost 43yr old, part-time boxer that went 12rds with a younger, bigger, Super Welterweight class fighter and was in no danger of getting knocked out. Still roughed up Ugas in a loss (post fight face says it all) is an accomplishment in itself and a GOAT to many.

I realized that for a boxer to be special you must have these things. • Excellent footwork • Flawless Side to Side movement •Speed •Power •Stamina And manny pacquiao have all of that but now 2 things are missing in his fight w/ ugas. Age and leg cramp really hit him hard but still his a dangerous fighter up until now big respect for the Legend Manny Pacquiao
Yes age also but he can still defy that and the main factor that night was his legs got tight due to overtraining because of 10 or 11 days notice of changing his opponent and he was really well prepared for Spence so instead of resting 1 week before the fight, he's still running that's why his muscles didn't have enough time to recover.

@@beprophesiedtruthflix4046 . I wouldn't say he is the all time goat. Muhammad Ali takes that place. Ali also fought until the bitter end with going against people like Shavers and Holmes when he literally couldn't hardly move or fight back due to the early onset Parkinson's Disease. At the end of the day, Chavez probably was the Goat of Manny's division with Duran being a close second.
Manny Pacquiao was just over-trained. He trained very hard for Errol Spence but unfortunately, there's a sudden change of who is his opponent. It's hard to make adjustments right away to study the fighting styles of Ugas with a very few days left before the fight. So, Pacquiao had no time to rest.
