Answer: because team Pacquiao always walk out of the negotiations. Cotto was hesitant to fight head on against Manny again, then he just maintained his distance on him after that. That's why Cotto's coach told him to circle Manny, waiting for that opportunity to slow him down and take the right time to come back. And guess, he did not get that opportunity, though that was a good strategy, throw jobs and maintain distance. But Manny was just tenacious, though clearly we saw that he took some solid punches and shots from Cotto too on the early round, but he did not back down and fear to exchange blows again. Don't get me wrong, Cotto is clearly a strong puncher. But Manny was just fearless and hungry to exchange blows. That feeling when the more you got hit, the more you get thirst and excited in the fight. That's the kind of fighter Manny is.
