I already have 3 regions with a manor build... Man this game is just so frustrating with little stuff like this. Also never delete your manor and build a new one, your retinue refuses to move into the new manor and prefers freezing in the cold. only way to fix this is to send your entire retinue to their death and recruit new ones. Even tho its early access it has been in development for 7 years...
I think if there going to have a limit then either have 6 per region, or every time uou lvl a village up in a region you gain the ability to recuit another unit for that region. Its sucks when you have undefended regions because you maxed you militia cap out in others so you just get raided before you can get your trooos there. Love the game but this cap ruins the multi region survivability, its not worth it and i really want to have multiple regions with villages.
It's a bug. It will be fixed. But just build more manors and add the tower for more retinue units in. Unit per manor. Optimal, 6 militia before building manors. Then build as many manors with towers as possible. Upgrade living buildings with militia assigned to them to upgrade their gear needs up to mail armor with tier 3. And customize retinues to add retinue and buy each of them plate. But retinues with plate crush already, so them plus mercs is already what you need to win any battle.
What happens if 1 x archer militia unit that max out 36 ppl but after the battle they left only 10 ppl? What I mean is, if we choose to disband them rather then remove them, so when we rally them back (got enough extra men/equipment from that region to max again), will they become 36 ppl again or still the same 10 ppl for that unit? 🤔
Disband the "rallied" army. BUT don't disband the group. (basically if you have a rally icon and a disband icon. do not hit that disband button it will delete the group) If you have lots of villagers back at home. You can rally back another 36/36 replacement right away. But you can't disband the rallied army unless you're within your region.
Well you get retinues based on the number of regions you take over and build manors for. and unlimited mercs. so the army can be very massive from that.
@@RonEmpire which is stupid. what happens when you take over a region across the map and then get raided? you supposed to call your army from the otherside of the map to intercept them? pretty stupid.
@@editpending2079 Well. if your entire army is on the other side of the map. Your population/militias are armed that's more of a strategy issue. But maybe the wives are could be taking up arms. (kidding of course) or you could reserve a group back at home and not rally them. If you hire some mercenaries, you could be taking over a region with that and leave your militias at home. Watch my Mercenary Captain video, and see how I just take over regions with Mercs ONLY and not even use militias or retinues. The idea is your retinues are for defending your Manor. Also- getting raiders come to your town and burning your village down isn't as bad as it seems, just hit the rebuild rubbles, and all is back to normal.
@@RonEmpire i cant hire mercenaries. there are never any availible. sounds like this game still has a lot of work to do before it is functional.the militia cap ruined this game. and with only 1 dev i doubt any of these will ever be addressed. cool video i guess but the game sucks.
@@editpending2079 So you ended up buying the game. LOL congrats. They should be available at least 2. But the developer mentioned that it has some bugs where the AI keeps stealing it in the Restoring Peace scenario. In the other two scenarios they're always available.
