The revelations made near the end of this movie share elements with the first season of True Detective.... (nothing is what it seems; the truth is buried under webs of lies and deceit; personal agendas motivate political actions; scandalous familial secrets; everyone is a pawn in the larger game of corruption, etc). Seriously, I never expected Bollywood to make such a nuanced, detailed and intelligent film. Deserves to be watched again for all the subtleties.

Probably one of the finest 'Murder Mystery' movies of Bollywood. It became so complex at one point that I was worried that the ending would be something like Rahashya (another good murder mystery but ending was sloppy). But it didn't disappoint me and everything totally made sense at the end :) Highly Recommended to those who love Murder Mystery/Mystery/Crime Drama! :)

True, the mystery reveal at the end was worth the slow burn nature of the movie. BTW, if you want to watch a movie about The Arushi case, you should check out "Talvar (2015)".

slow paced movie but i guess that the 'slowness' is its plus point. till end the movie holds our attention towards it, abay deol, gul, raima all are doing justice to their characters. I think this is one of nawassudin siddiq's beginning days film. he too is very watchable. wishes to director.

The movie is set in one mofussil town - where Abhay initially portrays its character - slow, pale and languid city and its subjects.. The pace has to match its immediate ambience mate.. Remember of all things, it is a story of Lakhot.. Happy to hear your thoughts 😊

Do Good movies follow Avay..or does he havevthe midas touch...or he is a clairvoyant. .knows which is a ruddy good movie...ok mightvhv been indpired by some western flick..who cares....conveys a great message..w r not the master planner. ...Someone up there has a better plan..so the saying..all best laid plans of mice and men.....
