purushoth karunanithi we will do time study of the process, either with current allocated manpower or we can use 1 manpower for all processes. And calculate walking time & manual time of that operator for every process

Hi. If is still relevant. Week off, or sickness leave are usually incorporated in effeciency decreasing availability time. It is important to plan vacations, to not have majority people gone. Does this helped?

So the Manual Time + Walking Time is also equivalent to the whole Cycle Time of the process? Am I right?

No dear cycle time is also include auto time...manual time + walking time is the time of operator only. Not machine or whole process

@@RamanPahujaIndustrialEngineer how about the main process + additional steps like putting the products in the bin and getting it from the bin. Is it included as the walking time, since there is no walking included in our process. Thanks

If we get 2.1 as no of manpower required then we need to declare no of manpower as 3 and not 2

Offcourse, It required 3 Manpower in order to meet customer demand, But it is biggest waste to company. So as an engineer need to KAIZEN to reduce 0.1 manpower.
