Cuts only happen with the 4.0 if you don’t read the user guide which states to not be at a angle rest the guard on the skin so it’s flat

You covered all except the most essential feature of a trimmer. Which one trims better? I have the 4.0 since yesterday and it feels extremely weak, it pulls my beard hairs and the light turns off when I hold the trimmer in a certain way (don’t know if that’s a feature). I think mine is faulty, because I’ve been using trimmers for more than 10 years and I have never used one so weak.

I too have the 2.0 but will the Meridian still snag your skin? My 2.0 still snags me if I'm not careful, no matter how tight I pull the skin.

Yikes that’s not a good sign bud. I’d invest in something else more advanced and more updated if I was you. I know how bad and bothersome them cuts, or nicks can be down there regardless of how small or shallow they may be 😬

I got one snag when I got the first version and I'm still using it hence I'm checking out review vids to upgrade, but what I wanted to point out was that I learned you can't angle it so steep/vertical or you will get snagged especially around your ball skin. If you have have the trimmer angled more horizontal it shouldn't snag. My main requirement is for it to cut super short, which I think the first did ok, but not great. If the meridian has slower rpm I probably wouldn't go with that

Great review! I can't see why you'd want a bigger trimmer, how big is your junk? Seems like smaller would actually be better because you would have more control and less chance of doing damage to your package down south.

My only question, and whole reason I watched this video, is because I own the Lawnmower 3.0 and it clips/cuts me, when using it on sensitive parts down there. I want to know which, (if any) between the Lawnmower 4.0 or Meridian trimmer, will NOT cut/hurt me, when trimming down there, on the most sensitive parts? Thank you for making this video.

In the experience of most customers, they say that Meridian doesn’t do that while Manscaped customers have had more complaints with their product!

I agree with Meninfluencer, I've had the Meridian for a year and had no cuts. However with any sharp blade you need to take care. Make sure you pull the skin taught while trimming and take your time. Hope this helps.

I was going to get the manscape 4.0 but i found out that they try and sneak a blade replacement subscription on you. If you're not paying attention they will bill you $15 every few months. Pretty shady.

Currently using a $10 Wahl T-blade trimmer and a $5 Dove men dry spray deodorant for my balls. Total: $15. It does nic me here and there but I can't see myself spending $100+ on a nuts shaver and $50 on a deodorant anytime soon..maybe $75 max!

More than 2 minutes? We're not females, we don't have cavities down there where others have ejaculated into. You should be able to soak, lather, rinse and repeat in less than a few minutes (unless you have a STD or something lol(😷 maybe you do?) And a spray deodorant(any brand) is good on male genitalias because we don't have to worry about "ph balances" and shit like that either. Spending $150 on manscape is crazy. Dove body spray is not only a great value but also a great quality deodorizer at $5. And the canister lasts for over 6mos if used moderately and only for your crouch area.

Curious if you can bring a female onto your channel to try these out and give a review? I believe both products should work for females, but I don't see any advertising about that for Meridian, while Manscaped has an entire blog about it being just as effective for women as men. Also on youtube I can find a handful of videos by women about Manscaped but none for Meridian. Female designed trimmers for "down there" are notorious for nicks and cuts, often necessitating we put on guards with plenty of length and then go back over with a razor if we want it close to the skin (which also lends itself to nicks). I wonder how these two compare when handling a womans body, especially because they were designed for the male body and every female already knows that male products (razors, trimmers, etc...) are ALWAYS better than the female branded products.

Hi I’m back to report my findings; sorry for the late response but the package arrived this morning. I can confirm that meridian is 😺 friendly, I went pretty rough with it to see if there’s cuts or nicks and the answer is nope, It was very smooth and very safe, I used it on my armpits as well and no cuts. It doesn’t even heat up after a long period of using it. If you have any questions just ask 👍

what got reviewed here? i came here for a comparison between manscaped 4.0 and meridian. instead i got told about all the different things manscaped sells. i dont care about that because i can easily see that at their website. binning out saying ive only had this one for 3 weeks might mean youre not ready to review it. if you need to use it for a bit longer then do that and tell us what you think about it. i want to know which product is best at not grabbing skin and cutting it.

Hey great video, just one thing, I'm really not trying to sound like a prick but it seems like you're focusing to hard on how you speak, meaning its very loud and monotone. So it quickly becomes kind of monotonous and almost robotic sounding. Just talk like you would if you were having a conversation with a friend if that makes sense.
