Chaos89P Gazelle in The African plains just jump straight up in the air in front of predators for no apparent reason, seemingly because they know the predators can’t catch them and they’re showing that off. Mantas might be doing the same thing
@@kitcatcreations6132 I disagree with your disagreement. The concept of "Fun" is a survival instinct that all animals possess to help them train what they need to do to live.
visuals: Beautiful shots of one of the most elegant animal in existence, branching out of the water like acquatic angels. audio: *FAST THRASH METAL MUSIC*
I love how this show is ever evolving! You can tell Danielle really cares about this show by the overall production quality and enthusiasm!! Great work everyone!! Love the added graphics and information!!

I’ve had the privilege of swimming with a manta ray along the coast of Western Australia. They’re just gorgeous. You wouldn’t believe how fast they move with just a couple flaps of their wings, so gentle and elegant. It’s one of the best memories I have.
Oh wow ... The reason why I almost wanted to become a marine biologist long time ago, was partly due to Giant Manta Rays; it isn't just their size, but sheer elegance that amazes me ... Wish I could swim with them one day ...
nigelft I really recommend doing it at least once in you life! If you do, please remember to chose a ethical tourist company that does NOT allow you to get too close or touch marine creatures. I think a lot of people can agree that getting prodded and grabbed from day to day wouldn’t really lead to a happy life.
Any animal ever: exists Traditional Chinese Medicine believers: it's free real estate also, do Birds of Paradise if you haven't yet. it would fun to learn about and i bet you would make a great drawing of them.
Underwater shark bats are awesome. They're also really, really clever. There is at least one recorded instance of a Giant Manta seeking human help to remove a fish hook from its mouth.
Last mass extinction: giant asteroid ; next mass extinction: traditional Chinese medicine. Edit: this comment was not directed against Chinese people or any Asians, it's only against practicing traditional "medicine" that causes harm against endangered species.
@@firstnamelastname7298 - Maybe we could call them Tempest Rays or Tempest for short... I dunno.. reminds me of Tempest from ARK Pugnacia to me.. the flying and swimming..

Goddamn the sound peacocks make when they roost at night. . . Utterly terrifying when i first heard it and had no idea what it was. . . Why oh why does such a gorgeous animal sound like a woman being repeatedly stabbed. . .
Don't be surprised, our literacy rate and our mayor interest mostly not touching this area. Kinda sad, but if we can promoting this for better future, there's still a hope. -masalah seperti ini susah viral- 😂
I remember watching one jump from the water from my grandpas dock. I actually thought it was a dolphin initially, but when I saw the body, I knew this was no dolphin. I quickly ran in to tell everyone what I saw. My grandpa said there were a few in the area we live in, Which took me by surprise, considering we lived on Tampa Bay (a very shallow water area). I was under the impression that they were a deep ocean/coral reef animal. I was wrong! It was awesome to see!
I grew up on Tampa Bay and saw a few really enormous Manta Rays, very scary. Tampa Bay is an awesome estuary and therefore a huge nursery for all kinds of sea life.
No don't. The less people that know about them the better Cause if too many people know about them then someone in china is gonna say "oh look penis enlargement beaks"
@@Mae_Dastardly Dude, that's kinda dum to day. And it's a very unreasonable comment. The more people know the better, so we could BETTER help these birds if they DO get in trouble.
Manta's are mesmerizing. One of the or if not the most graceful creatures of the ocean. So sad to see them killed for quack medicine. Hammerheads Next!🤘
Don't know if anyone will see this, I once found what was obviously a sting ray in a place it shouldn't have been. a river in Arkansas. Could it have been an evasive species or perhaps it got lost migrating or something? It looked like a tan dinner plate with waves around the edges of it and then a tail. Edit: I cant find a sting ray that matches the description online.
Could you review otters, especially the Giant otter c: I find it interesting how the apex predators of the Amazon river are the cold blooded ferocious jaguar, the sly anaconda and the Adorable giant otter cc; Great video, I love channels that help raise awareness for these beautiful animals!
