Who in their right mind would support a political party that was formed 4 weeks ago with no ground work, no clear leader, no fiscal or monetary policies? Zuma who was released on parole for being terminally ill is now attempting to be a member of parliament, so you're too sick to be a prisoner but also healthy enough to be in parliament? There is a serious education & intelligence problem in the KZN. South Africans and in particular the Zulu tribe has a rich history of tribalism that dates back from the Shaka days to this day, I can count many instances of Zulu tribalism that happened recently: The Xenophobia of May 2008 when black people were being asked what a elbow is, in Isizulu failing which you got attacked. The July 2021 looting for Jacob Zuma that caused economic collapse & saw many businesses close shop. The constant torching & killings of cross border trucks & truck drivers who can't speak isizulu. There are too many incidents of tribalism from the Zulu tribe so this could also just be another tribalism issue.

See Tutsis in the great lakes, see Gurkhas in Nepal. Ask them what they think of others you'll find they are still preoccupied by what they were indoctrinated on by the colonisers. A small example Xhosas fought the british for 200 years in the frontier wars (there are heros and heroins whom we will never know about deliberately) , It delayed their advancement to the interior and to the north.
