I was a freshmen when Manti was a senior at Punahou in Hawaii. We didn't go to the same school, but I remember watching him play.. He was a man among boys while in high school. He could play linebacker, running back, quarterback... It's a huge inspiration to see a Laie boy going big yet staying humble in our cultural ways.
A total class act, as well. Devout Mormon, Eagle Scout, great student, humble. When asked why he didn't leave the Irish to go pro, he said something like "when it's all said and done you can't take a Cadillac or a fancy house with you and I want to be around the people I love". Humble, quiet man. Helluva hitter.
It's not the fact that he has over 100 tackles, it's the fact he's broke that mark for three straight years. Plus that he has seven interceptions, which is tied for the most in the NCAA right now. He is a leader and a clutch player who deserves the award.
I remember i had a classmate who played againt Manti when it was Punahou against Leilehua for the state championship and he said Manti was so big and strong it felt like he got hit by a tank. Good doing Hawaii proud Manti!
Big hitter, good tackler... Can't wait for him to come out of the draft in 2013! This guy's a 1st round pick and I can see his stock raising after this season.
No matter where he goes in the NFL, you can bet your ballsack I'll have his jersey. He's one of the best linebackers in the game, if not the best. Go IRISH!
Trading from 32 to the top ten would be one hell of a trade. Trading up is something the ravens would very rarely do never mind trying to get this high. He is a wonderful player and if he somehow dropped into the 20s then the ravens could move up.
He was definitely playing with a lingering injury last year. If he is back to full speed watch out. Another year of size and strength for that young line in front of him will only help. That front 7 is going to be amongst the best in the country. I hope the secondary can pull their weight.
Has anybody meant more to there team this year than Manti Te'o? In my opinion he deserves the Heisman Johnny Football is good but Manti lead his team to the National Championship game.
Manti Te'O is going to be a solid player in the NFL where every he's drafted you just see it in a player when you know they've got that it factor. solid player mock my word. hopefully the JETS target him. know Rex is all about defense.
He's going to be tough to get for the Ravens because he can land anywhere in the teens. ILB is not usually as a coveted position, but playmakers are playmakers and you want to have as many of them as possible on your roster. Hope Ozzie pulls the trigger and trade up to get him in the early 20s.
Hope my Ravens get him . . . He'd feel right at home on our defensive minded team I could see him busting some Steeler skulls for the next decade in the Black & Purple!
With the 8th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft the Minnesota Vikings select.... Manti Te'o, linebacker, Notre Dame. (That'll make 6 golden domers on the Vikings)
He would look great in a Lions uniform and he'll be great behind Ndamukong Suh & Nick Fairley, hopefully my Lions can finish their disappointing year a 6-10 or 5-11 so we can get the 8th pick to take this dude.
He would be the final piece to the Chiefs defense.. Imagine the LB corps Tamba Hali, Derrick Johnson, Manti Te'o, Justin Houston! and Brandon Flowers, Brandon Carr, Kendrick Lewis, and Eric Berry in the backfield!! Defense wins championships!
USC totally dominated The Terminator... look at the highlights on You Tube... they went around and through him. He is a great LB, he just picked the wrong college team to play on.

Chiefs are taking him with the top pick in the draft, its been all over the radio the last week or so. Geno Smith isn't worth a top 10 pick, so going with Te'o to pair with Tamba Hali, Derrick Johnson, and Justin Houston to have the best LB corp in the NFL.
@iversonfan13 All the effects were done in Adobe After Effects Cs4. I used a coulple plug-ins as well. I'm currently learning to use a 3d program called Cinema 4d which will be used in my next video (mainly the intro).
