Manticore reacting badly to its own shaft 

This is just a quick video showing the Manticore reacting badly to it's own conductive carbon fibre shaft, I have the coil cable removed from the shaft so its well away from the coil trying to stop it interfering with the singal from the detector, but clearly demonstrates the shaft is the cause of the falsing, if the shaft is removed from the coil and the shaft waived over the detector it clearly demonstrates just how reactive the detector is to it's lower shaft. This is a major problem for someone like me that uses the detector for prospecting and pivots the coil around on the shaft to reach in under bushes and in rocky areas trying to keep the coil to the soil with the shaft allowing movement of the coil to stay on as close to the ground as possible. The Equinox with the traditional plastic shaft didn't have this issue. I suspect at the moment everyone is just blaming this problem on being a sensitive detector and it's seeing the coil cable, but the fact is the shaft is far more reactive than the coil cable.
