ABOUT:

Lord Dhanvantari is the God of Medicine (Ayurveda). Lord Dhanvantari is believed to have appeared during the churning of the ocean by Devas and Asuras, when he emerged from ocean holding a pot of 'Amrit', the life giving elixir.
The day of his appearance is celebrated on Dhanteras, a few days before Diwali.

Guys, no doubt this is the best version of Dhanvantri mantra which makes you want to learn the mantra and just close your eyes and surrender to MAHA VISHNU, the supreme almighty. How ever I would like to correct one word in this mantra which is not right, Its '' Sarva bhaya Vinashanaya '' not '' Sarva maya''. It means what ever fear we have for the illness we have , may Lord Dhanvantri take it away. Enjoy the benefits of this divine mantra !!! please note..it is not sarva bhaya.. it is sarva amaya vinashanaya..while singing it becomes sarvaamaya vinashanaya.. amaya means disease.. means the one who (i.e Dhanwantari) destroys all type of diseases..:-)
