+Mcraly Chicken Nugget in a oven LOL kimono is a the 6 member of GOM he is called "the phantom member of GOM" cause he is hardly seen watch the whole anime
Manu passes to guys before they even know they are open. That's how brilliant he is. He just passes the ball to the spot where the other player should be, and hopefully they are smart enough to notice that's the right play right after Manu does.
These kind of pass is quite common in both football(real) and American football. It's just that players have more ground area to work with this kind of pass in those games. In basketball, the area is significantly smaller considering the size of player, therefore turnover rate is pretty high if you constantly pass like that. With that said, you can see why pop puts him on bench... because sometimes he does reckless things. However his recklessness is also what make him great.
es una buena observacion... y, si es verdad, las caracteristicas (ritmo, vision de juego, creatividad y capacidad de articular la ofensiva son las de un "10" ideal ej Maradona) Aprobado! tenés un 10 pibe!
I miss watching Manu. He sacrificed so much to make the spurs better. He could have had bigger numbers, more all star teams, and more money; but he prioritized winning and team culture. He was such a joy to watch.
One of the best players ever. His Euro resume alone will get him into the HOF. He's got a gold medal, countless Euro chips and 4 NBA chips. Manu is a bad man.
I'd say #2, behind Steve Nash, only because almost all of Nash's passes involved doing moves that risked serious injuries. Manu, for the most part, remained firmly on the ground.
you've obviously never seen manu play… he literally took a charge from lebron in there most recent matchup…he's almost 40 and is still willing to step in front of a guy as big as lebron
I meant for the context of his passes, I know he's not always on the ground. I know he can shoot 3s and dunk, both of which can injure you quite easily. But you said he's one of the best passers, I said he's #2 behind Nash, in terms of passing, because Nash's passes always seem to involve a move that can lead to a career ending injury. Ginobili's passes are not like that.
I've never been a fan of him (mainly because I'm a Heat fan I guess) but I have to admit now I see his brilliance on the court and I will miss him truely. Such a good player, loyal and creative.
That's Manu...not many in the league like him. He was a force playing for the Spurs. His coach said once about him: " he sees the floor so well better than any one I coached", and the video proves it.
Manu...my fav. I miss the hair and the fouls it accentuated! To this day, when somebody is putting on a show to get something that isn't quite deserved, I say GMAFB, Manu!
coming from a laker fan please put manu in the hall of fame. This dude is silly talented with the basketball and one of the ledgendary few people to ever make pop smile from his bench lol
Manu Ginobili is my favorite player in the NBA.I never liked basketball until my cousins told me about the SA Spurs then he showed me (real life Kuroko) then I was impressed that he did those passes. Now I play basketball 3-5 hours every weekend with my Manu jersey I love Manu Ginobili! love from the Philipines
Ginobili really is one of a kind, and pops never made him, except on the motivation factor. All those great passes are his own, that is why the coach cant control and eventually let him do what we wants.
i like how they werent extremely fancy just sharp af and accurate like you said. also in areas i would never dream of attempting. 5 human heads were almost smashed in this video but his accuracy went right past those heads and right into the hands of a teammate. crazy passes
dude you forgot his most impressive pass.Between the legs of a moving Cole to Parker for a jump shot that never went in.2013 finals game 1.The score was 23 - 27 for the HEAT
Every aspiring basketball player in the world should watch this video BEFORE watching slam dunks contests and the Globe Trotters. This is where it's at in basketball, a TEAM sport.
Manu could have easily been a #1 option for any team in the 90's/00's. What a tremendously humble and unselfish player. Dude never even made a peep about NOT EVEN STARTING. Not to mention Argentina beat USA for the gold medal led by Manu in 2004. USA's starting lineup? Iverson, Wade, Lebron, Carmelo, Duncan.
Manu is my favorite player of all time...he's fearless and has a the same type of heart and competivness of MJ or Kobe...has four NBA chips, a sixth man of the year, couple of euroleague chips and MVPs and most impressive an Olympic gold medal ..But off the court he is the best man you'll ever know.
You gotta give credits to the whole team. The rotation is confusing for other teams. But they all know where each other is and always alert for manu's passes. Damn
