#manuelantonio #thingstodo #CostaRica 'Manuel Antonio Costa Rica - Overview Father/Son Road Trip' Manuel Antonio and the Manuel Antonio National Park was definitely on our destinations in the Father/Son Road Trip on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. This video, 'Manuel Antonio Costa Rica - Overview Father/Son Road Trip' is an overview of Manuel Antonio. **We have a separate video for the Manuel Antonio National Park.
Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, is a popular destination known for its stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and diverse wildlife. This coastal town offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Here are some things to do in Manuel Antonio:
Manuel Antonio National Park: Explore the biodiversity of the area by taking a hike through this renowned national park. You can spot various wildlife like monkeys, sloths, and exotic birds as you trek through the scenic trails. And it should be noted, the beach in the National Park is much better than the public beach.
Beach Activities: Relax on the beautiful beaches of Manuel Antonio or partake in water activities like swimming, snorkeling, and surfing. If you're looking for private beach(s) in the area, don't hesitate to ask a local or taxi driver, because they do exist and they are nicer.
Mangrove Tours: Take a boat tour through the mangrove forests to witness the unique ecosystem and spot wildlife such as crocodiles, birds, and reptiles.
Canopy Tours/Ziplining: Get your adrenaline pumping with a ziplining adventure through the jungle canopy for an aerial view of the surrounding nature. You can zipline in Manuel Antonio but if you will also be visiting La Fortuna or Monteverde you might want to hold off, because the ziplines are better in those areas.
Waterfall Rappelling: For the more adventurous, try waterfall rappelling where you can descend down cascading waterfalls surrounded by lush greenery.
Sport Fishing: Enjoy a day of deep-sea fishing off the coast of Manuel Antonio, known for its abundance of fish like marlin, sailfish, and dorado.
Sailboat Tours: Relax on a sailboat tour along the coastline, where you can enjoy the sea breeze and even spot dolphins and sea turtles or forget the relaxing and go on more of a 'booze cruise' ')
Local Cuisine: Don't miss out on trying the delicious Costa Rican cuisine at the local restaurants and food stalls, offering a mix of fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and traditional dishes. Manuel Antonio is a top tourist destination, so you won't find many cost breaks when sitting down at a restaurant. The restaurants in Quepos tend to be a little cheaper, since that's where the locals hang outl
These are just a few of the many activities that Manuel Antonio has to offer, making it the perfect destination for those seeking a blend of adventure, relaxation, and nature exploration.

Booked a trip through Travel Costa Rica Now 6 years ago (Thanks again Michael & Vernita!). One of the areas we stayed in was Manuel Antonio. Great memories and as usual Mike is spot on with the info. Be prepared to get hammered relentlessly by the vendors on the beach. It’s less brutal inside the park and as Mike says the beaches are next level! Pro Tip: Don’t leave your back pack with food in it unattended. The animals will be all over it. PURA VIDA!

I plan on watching the whole Father/Son Tour Series, but this was my first video of it. I really liked the voiceover style video.

Perfect timing mICHAEL. My wife and I are going to be visiting Manuel Antonio in about four weeks. A heads up to your followers, the park is closed on Tuesdays, and you have to get tickets online in advance.

My girlfriend and I went on a day trip to Manuel Antonio Park and beach a few years ago. My summation: hot hot hot and humid. I know you need to expect that in the coastal lowlands but this day was exceptionally warm. The guided walk through the park to the beach became a sweaty ordeal for me to get through rather than a pleasant excursion. I brought my camera but barely touched it since I was dripping sweat and my glasses were constantly fogged so I could barely see. My girlfriend liked how close she could get to the monkeys though. The beach was very pretty and a nice way to cool off when we got there.

Yup, same as when we were there.. I might even add a 'hot'. But I suppose we are kind of used to it living here.. but you are right.
