Get the Ultimate Driving Course here: www.ultimatedr... During this driving lesson, we cover pedestrian crossings. Many forget to cover this topic before the driving test. #drivinglesson #drivingtips #drivingtest
Had my first driving test today, passed with 3 minors in an area very unfamiliar to me, picked because it was the soonest one available. So happy with the freedom it will bring me and how much it will help me with getting to my new job.
I passed my test yesterday with only 4 minors, thank you Pin for all of the hard work that goes into your videos and lessons that helps viewers like me pass their test first time round!! Keep it up 😁
When he said "Miscery.. Pain" before the steep junction.. I could feel the Miscery that I had in my hills lesson... (The broken piece of the tail light lens kept as a souvenir in my cupboard..)
I passed my test on Tuesday with 4 minors. Thanks for the videos they really helped me remember important information on the day I couldn't fit into my practical lessons. You never stop learning though. Still need to perfect a lot of my driving over time. Thank you.
Managed to get my test moved from September to next week… been watching your videos religiously and bought the ultimate driving course also, been of real help. Just hoping to pass first time after so many cancellations!!
Finally passed my test today. Just wanted to say your videos were a very big help towards me passing. Only got two minors. Keep up with the great content!! Im gonna be active still showing love. 👍
I was waiting for this 😂😂😂 I've been watching all your videos Pin like one by one and man you're such a comedian. The way you have edited the videos and your reaction and indirect sarcasm is too good. Every person you ask about their faults - they always give the right answer but don't do it haha like it's so weird. Keep it up brother. I absolutely love watching your videos as they're increasing my knowledge day by day even tho I've passed.
Brandon is funny and has the banter! Reminds me of me a lot since I’ve got back into driving as I’m learning again and I’m 32 lol… great driving Brandon
Passed my test today with 4 minors so buzzing thanks for these videos pin helped me a lot throughout my 12 hours of learning, thanks lot keep up the good work
It may be that I didn't hear them saying it but the other reason for puting the handbrake on when you're stopped for more than a few seconds is people driving into the back of you. It helps you being shunted forward into traffic at junctions so easily.
These videos are so useful. I love the way you guys will casually have a chat during the traffic lights :) that’s the kind of relationship you want with your instructor
Aww I feel like Brendan and I are on this journey together, I've done about the same amount of lessons as him, think he's a bit ahead of me, but I talk to myself a lot like him and I always know when I've forgotten mirrors 🤭
Today I passed with 5 minors first time. Thank you Pin for providing the free content on the channel, as well as the Ultimate Driving Course which is WELL WORTH the little price, it proved invaluable to me!
I hope I'll pass my Dubai RTA Road test soon.. 😭😭😭 10th Attempt.. still 😭 here it depends on nothing.. only the pure moodyness of the examiner.. just because they tell you to overtake a vehicle.. but it's not safe to do so and you don't.. they fail you for hesitation..
Pin I would really love for some advice, I failed my test on Tuesday on a zebra crossing with a safe haven in the middle of it, it was a crossing just before a roundabout, so I was in the left hand side of the road turning left a guy stepped out onto the crossing on my right hand side he wasn't on the haven in the middle he was on the total opposite side of the road not my side and most deffo not on the central reservation. The examiner slammed on the break as soon as he put his foot on to the opposite side of the road, my instructor has it on dash cam and said its unfair that I was failed and that it was a harsh fail as I should of stopped only if he was on the central reservation (safe haven I like to call it) where do I stand with this and is it worth a appeal, I only had 1 minor up to this incident and was 32 mins into my test
Sounds like an unfair fail, I would appeal it as zebra with central islands is treated as 2 separate crossings ! Highway code rules 20 & 195 in the appeal.
Great video as always, Pin. Well done, Brandon. You're driving has improved so much, you'll make a great driver 👍 Small edit: at 43:55 😂 Brandon: Stay in the left lane. Pin: This is NOT the left lane, Bran. Had me howling hahaha
Am I the only one that gets a little bit triggered when Brandon isn’t changing his gears fast enough or like checking his mirrors fast enough? Must be me😭 but tbf he is a learner after all sooo
I would imagine that the blindspot mirrors are also a big help for the instructor to see what is happening. My instructor had them and I still was always told to look over shoulder for blindspots every time, I imagine Pin does the same
You guys are totally right maybe blind spot mirrors help instructors see but the student is totally loosing the huge skill on how they should shoulder check turn their head to see the blind spot area. For example if Brandon here is learning with a blind spot mirror he is pretty relied on that and it he won’t have the basic skill to shoulder check when changing lanes. Sorry if it looks like I am advising pin but he really gotta get rid of those blind spot mirrors so students can learn shoulder checks and learn to turn their head to check blind spot area. I even learned to drive without any blind spot mirriors.
@@benhutchinson3185 your instructor atleast told you to look over your shoulder which is great, I haven’t seen any of Pins drivers do that and they rely on the blind spot mirrors which is concerning me a little bit but I guess that’s his way of teaching..
Any advice on driving a new car for the first time?. My test is this Monday and my driving instructors car is in the garage unfortunately. He’s currently finding me a driving Instructor with a new car to use on my test day and this has made me 100x more nervous. 🙁I’m really trying to remain positive but it’s really hard as I have been doing lessons in the same car for 38 hours.
I hope your test went/goes well! The only advice with going into a new car for me, is to lift your clutch slower so you know where the bite is rather than lifting is as high/little as you normally might which might not work in this car, so just lift your clutch slowly until you know your bite, and also on manouvers be extra extra slow and observe alot more as your car being different and being different size and length etc and reference points may not work. If you just lift yoir clutch slower to find your bite, and do your manouvers slower so you cna figure the car position and size out more, you'll be fine.
@@jodia2125 thank you so much& sorry for the late reply. I DID PASS THANK THE LORD😫🥳. Honestly I don’t know how I did it. I definitely lifted the clutch slower and I was just driving slower in general as I was scared. That did come up as a minor but I still passed 😫🤷🏾♀️.
I wish Pin could be my instructor! I tried to book lessons today for the first time and am being told there is a 3 month waiting list. There goes my hopes of being on the road before the new year :( XD
I'm the same, when I first started I use to be very anxious like to the point where if I made one big mistake I would make a chain of mistakes afterwards. I think the main thing is just anticipating everything ahead of time that way you got more time to prepare and are less stressed out cause if you do everything last minute or too quick then ur more likely to mess up but if you just stay calm and anticipate everything like for example if you know a roundabouts coming up get prepared to slow down and change rather than wait till ur close to the roundabout to decide. Or if you know you're going right on a roundabout try get in the right hand lane early so you don't have to stress when you're close to the roundabout entrance.
The test isn’t that bad people make it out to be, examiners are really not there to fail you just be confident take your time approach things slow you’ll be fine
@@shuaib2281 I was the same when I had my first lesson, I stalled multiple times and thought I would never learn but then I got it eventually. Btw any tips for the theory apart from the apps and the materials, I got my one on the 5th of August.
Hi Pin, if there are two lanes going right on a roundabout and I use the right one, do I need to exit in the right lane or can I move back to the left before exiting if it’s safe to do so. Thanks.
www.ultimatedrivingcourse.com/ go on this website and it gives you the option to buy. You don't even have to download an app you can access it all online.x
All I can say is try to relax as much as possible. The examiners are generally nice people and will forgive any mistakes unless they're dangerous. Good luck.
@@AshyView24 I try too as much as possible, usually I drive really well and my instructor often says how well I drive but once I make a simple mistake I crumble and make so many more after.
hi so i'm currently revising for my theory test which i have in a month. After that i'd like to do practical driving lessons. I've heard that, due to covid, getting an eventual driving test will take like a year. Is that over exaggerated ?
No it's true. Literally every slot is taken for the next 6 months. Cancellations get taken in about 30 seconds. You can use apps like Testi but you got to be really quick.
@@AliAli-sn3me get testi, I literally got a test initially in 2 weeks with testi by just camping on the app but my instructor said I wasn't ready so I had to then book December and now got a date for early August. So this is what you do basically book any late date at any random centre u can get a booking on. Download testi and put which test centres you'd be available for. Then you just basically camp your notifications and book as soon as they come up on the app as it helps you redirect to the booking page. Or if you want to be quicker basically just go on the dvsa change test date and stay on the page when u see a testi notification then quickly refresh and book the date.
@@shuaib2281 damnn wtf. I had plans to just get the driving lessons done then maybe atleast get a test in worst-case scenario december time, hopefully there's a space available then.
@@seigemain the way it works is they roll out test dates upto 6 months. So any new tests that come out are 6 months away. So if you get testi then the newest dates will be January when they come out. The december ones already came out last week so Im guessing the January ones will roll out near the end of the month. But you still gotta be quick since they get snatched up.
