My grandma lived to be 99. When she died, she still lived on her own and wasn’t on any medicine. She always grew a garden and ate natural foods and worked hard. This is the key to a king life I think

I believe you are right. The people who live in the Caucasus mountain area in Europe have been studied for decades for their longevity. They grow their own food as much as possible, work their gardens even in old age, make fresh yogurt from the milk from their animals, and they don’t have the concept of retirement like western nations do. They always keep busy, it’s good for health, flexibility and their mind, their food is raised naturally and they feast on the harvest.

Mine was 96 and same thing. She ate a varied diet including plenty of meat but very little processed foods or junk food. She was physically active working on her property through her 70s. She had a market garden for much of her life and ate a lot out of it. She canned and preserved her own foods too. Slowed down in her 80s but was still taking care of her home and making meals at 90. She needed help only the last couple of years but stayed in her home and died there which was her wish. My grandfather worked driving a truck until he was absolutely forced to retire at 75. He worked around their property in addition. I remember him lifting those small rectangle hay bales out of a truck when he must have been 80. He lived to 92. They both pretty much avoided doctors unless medical emergency or really necessary. They also avoided medications, even otc. I remember my grandmother saying taking too much of that stuff cant be good for you, did you read the insert? She had. They used something called BenGay which was a topical cream often though for various aches and pains. My grandmother did get cataract surgery too.

@@elizaj4431 "They both pretty much avoided doctors unless medical emergency or really necessary. They also avoided medications ..." That's a big key to it. Mum was the same, worked hard, ate simply, enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She was prescribed her first medication at 96, a vitamin B12 supplement, and died two years ago aged 102. She never complained and she expected us children would be robust as well - and so we are!

If you can watch Dr. Becker’s show he is another one that has a great program each time. He is a MD and says he’s not against medicine but if we can heal up naturally without going with drugs we will be better off. I like that attitude.

So many otherwise honest doctors have to walk an insurance line to keep getting paid. Mine finally stopped arguing with me. He's an old family doctor who fell in line with the industry that had totally corrupted itself since his education. Now I'm a better judge of which treatments are most rational. Until I get back on top of diet and exercise at my age, a bp med makes some sense. Home stress is always part of it too.

We’ve lost 75 pounds each, gotten off cholesterol, diabetic medication, and some blood pressure meds. I’m not taking any more than I have to, and we have cut out 10 - 15 meals a week through fasting. This fasting has allowed us to buy everything we eat to be organic including meat, veggies, and fruit. Good luck everyone. ❤️ thank you Dr. Dhand.

@@adelarsen9776 we’re not eating carbs, except through veggies. We on occasion have steel cut oats, sweet potatoes, or brown rice. We eat organic meat, eggs, veggies. I make our full fat yogurt, all our salad dressing, use only coconut or avocado oil (in fact I’ve only ever used olive or avocado oil), make my own mayo, granola, butter, can, preserve, grown our veggies, and have started making our cottage cheese. I’ve made my own bread, which we’ve given up, but have ALWAYS cooked from “scratch”. I just didn’t put this all in my post as I didn’t want it to be a “book”. We don’t ever eat after 7:30 at night, and try to eat only in daylight hours. We work out 3x a week with weights, and are on our treadmill every day for at least 30 minutes. The only sugar we have on anything, is maple sugar (dehydrated from maple syrup), which doesn’t raise our glycemic index, but we do limit it. Good luck. Thanks for your post.

When I was 55 I went to see a doctor I have never seen for an ear infection. He walked in the door and handed me 5 prescriptions. He told me that everyone over 55 needed to be on them. I took them rip them up and threw them on the floor. As I headed for the door I told him if he charged me for this visit I would see it with never paid. He could write me a prescription for something for my earache without examining me. I never saw him again and I never paid the bill.

So true. For me, when I got covid (or whatever it was) in late 2021, I suffered from the systemic inflammatory response (cytokine storm?). Our community’s “healthcare” clinic REFUSED to see me because I was “sick” and refused to prescribe anything over the phone (northern NH). It wasn’t until I was circling the drain (after weeks of suffering) that I finally found someone to prescribe me prednisone. After 24 hours I was already 75% improved. “Healthcare” facilities have k i l l e d many people.

OMG, I have nearly the exact same story. Suffered from a horrific sinus infection remnant from Omicron, sick for six long weeks, two rounds of antibiotics did nothing. Went to an urgent care facility after becoming dismayed by my doctor's casual indifference. The nurse practitioner I saw took me seriously, did three tests on me and sent me home when the tests were negative. She then called me at home at night and said she was writing me a prescription for prednisone, that she thought it would help. Within a day, I began to feel much better. I left her a card with a handwritten note thanking her. Get teary eyed thinking about it still.

I had COVID 19 in May 2022. It felt like the worse flu I could have ever imagined: high fever, body pain to my bones, horrible sore throat, severe fatigue, headache, and stuffy painful sinuses. Everything subsided except the sinuses. I couldn’t taste or smell one week in. My sinuses were especially attacked. I decided to use Arm and Hammer Simply Saline Solution at least twice a day and Claritin 24 hour dissolvable tablets. Within a week I was able to smell and taste again and my sinuses were back to normal. I also read about imaging the taste and smell of foods I was eating and that maybe helped as well. I also sniffed citrus and cinnamon. I think the anti inflammatory effect of the antihistamine reacted like prednisone. I continued to use the solution and Claritin for several months after and do so at the first sign of something brewing.

I do not want a primary caregiver (doctor) and don't have one. My body tells me what it needs. I can tell if/when I need to see a doctor. Believe me, it's FAR fewer times than those who are sucked into the medical system, having unnecessary tests, treatments and drugs with harmful side effects. You've covered this aspect also in a video, which I wholeheartedly agree with. America needs to hear what you have to say. Thank you for bringing the truth out into the open.

This meant going to the hospital ASAP and induced labor ending in an emergency caesarean where the pain killer failed. My beautiful daughter was fine but because of the danger of peritonitis I had to take the most powerful antibiotic for a week. Yes, we are over medicated and yes, antibiotics can save lives.....but herbs are also to be used very carefully. Because of other people having bad experiences with cascara sagrada the herb soon began having warnings on the labels.

The unfortunate reality is that Western medicine currently understands less than 10% of what truly occurs in the human body, despite claiming comprehensive knowledge. A recent discovery within the last ten years highlights how 'Medicine' has revised its understanding of exosomes. Initially dismissed as cellular waste for decades, it is now recognized that exosomes play vital roles as inter-cellular transmitters. Trusting in common sense and maintaining a reliable gut may be the best approach to treatment.

I am a nurse from UK for almost 2 decades. I knew few years in to my career that overmedication was an issue amongst other things. I see patients being admitted with poly pharmacy and in a bad shape time and time again. Most of the medicine I had to administer are useless. Still the emphasis is on the medication. I started to dislike my job . Over stressed out doctors and overworked moody nurses, the whole environment has hostility vibe. Everybody is scared of everybody else and you are shamed and accused if you use your common sense that docent align one of the million policies that nobody really knows. My health was impacted due to stress. One day I decided to quit my job and do something totally different. Now a car and half later I glad I had the guts to quit nursing. It wasn't easy but I did it anyways. So thank you doctor, your vids resonate with me.

I stopped taking beta blockers (as a secondary blood pressure medication) because they slowed my adrenal system down enough that I suffer a number of falls. I could not get my muscles to respond quickly enough to prevent the falls. Before beta blockers, I never fell. After stopping them, I never fall. This side effect was very disconcerting, especially since I exercise six days a week, am in pretty good health, and have good physical coordination.

I thank you for being on youtube. Too bad there aren't more Doctors like you in the US. I have been to my share of Doctors over the my 70 yrs. and many rely on just throwing antibiotics at the patient at least for me for everything, instead of testing to see if it is bacterial or virus. Antibiotics are no good on virus as I myself have learned. Won't go into how I discovered this but was given antibiotics for strep throat which is a no no. Damn near killed me, until I was smart enough to go to another Doctor. I actually had a doctor say to me there are nine families of antibiotics we can use and had me on them for 9 months until I came down with Lupus from being on antibiotics for too long instead of testing me from the start when I was just getting more sick. I have done much research since then, instead of relying on Doctors, who I thought knew better than myself because afterall they were Doctors.

Has anyone here ever heard of healing inflammation with the spice turmeric? I just recently discovered a drink of water, 1/2 tsp of turmeric, and your choice of sweetener. Stir it well, and drink it before breakfast and/or dinner. It can work in a few days to a week. It is amazing! P.S. The recipe I was given suggests a half glass of water. The more important part is the turmeric. 😊

I agree with everything you have said, and the many other medications not mentioned that have also proven either life-saving or prevented pain or the onset of a disease or illness. However in taking even the drugs you mentioned, some caution and discernment is occasionally needed. As an example, antibiotics can be life savers, and I've taken quite a few in my lifetime, but after finishing a regime of antibiotics, be it for a few days, or many weeks, it's now been recommended more and more to start taking Probiotics, or Probiotic-containing foods, such as fermented foods like yogurt, kefir (both plain without sugars or sweeteners), Kim Chee or Sauerkraut. This helps restore those 'good bugs' in your microbiome like those that help you digest food that also may have been killed-off along with the 'bad bugs' in your system. I take two different medications for High Blood Pressure, though I'm not sure if they are Beta Blockers or something else, but hopefully, through diet & exercise, I will be able to cut down or even stop (with doctor's permission) taking these drugs. Some drugs are meant to be taken for a lifetime, but some could and even should be eventually 'weaned off of' IF a healthier lifestyle can be used instead. Lastly, anti-inflammatories are a God-Send for those in constant or moderate pain. I take a baby aspirin everyday, more for the blood-thinning effect than for pain, but when I was younger and prone to fairly bad migraines, I could only get relief with full-strength aspirin or combos like Excedrin, which also have Acetaminophen and Caffeine. However these can be abused, and some like over-the-counter Tylenol, can actually harm the liver if taken in excess. Older people, with more aches & pains, are more likely to become addicted to pain relievers and anti-inflammatories. Sometimes there is no other alternative, but sometimes therapies like Physical Therapy; Hot, Cold and Light Therapy; and even mind-controlling meditations can also aleve pain.

I'm 64 and I would never touch Beta Blockers, my brother had kidney failure caused by Beta Blockers according to the Autopsy report which I have a copy of, and it states kidney failure due to many years of medication. It wasn't the Beta Blockers that killed him, he did that himself after being diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer and after being offered surgery and Radio therapy which they said would probably give him an extra 10 months to a year he chose his way in September. I was on high blood pressure medication and ace inhibitors but I've swapped them for Grape Seed extract, Nattokinase, Magnesium Glycinate, Hawthorn drops and Potassium. It's working a treat.

All literatures would indicated β is protective to the kidneys if you have high blood pressure. No autopsy report will say renal failure due to medication as there are many causes. Get your story straight.
