Hi Tammy ! Great video, I just bought the Maono 230S as my first microphone and this review really sealed the deal. I play piano and want to try my hand at vocals. Thank you for taking the time to test it out for us, you have a great voice. I know I'm 2 years late but my condolences for your mother's passing. Have a great day !
One of the best reviews I've seen from a smaller channel. Informative AND entertaining. I'm in love with your style, bravo!!! Condolences for your loss as well. You seem strong and confident, I believe and hope you were able to pull through.
Never have I ever been so early in the video and I couldn’t be more grateful. Mom is always the best and the only person who loves you the most. I can’t imagine the pain you are going through but from the bottom of my heart I appreciate you shared us this moment of your life . May her soul Rest In Peace and please take care of yourself for me and all the others in the community you built here. We love you and may god bless everyone 😇❤️
Thank you for this review, i just bought this mic for a budget all round mic for my little studio i'm building. So sorry to hear about your mother. I am in my 40's now and my mum is getting older, it's heartbreaking but i am thankful for the times we've shared together over the years, and hope for many more.
Tammy, you are wonderful, thank you for being you, and sharing your humanity with all of us. Your singing is glorious! Sending light, love and lots of hugz. Your mother lives on in you 1000%
I just lost my Mom to cancer on August 28, 2020, so I can relate. But heaven feels closer now than ever before & I still talk to my Mom (looking at my favorite picture of her) every day. I just got together with my siblings to celebrate what would have been her 89th birthday. We sang happy birthday to her & my sister blew out the candle. We looked at pictures & went up to put flowers on her & my Dad's gravesite. I feel like my siblings & I are getting closer, which I know brings my Mom so much joy. Blessings to you & hope you too will be are able to find ways to continue to remember her & to feel close to your Mom & family. ❤ jAckie from Hawaii
My condolences again Tammy... just know they live on in our memories and in our hearts , so as long as you and your brothers remember her ...she’s never really gone ! 🙏
Oh, my goodness - this touched me. Thank you for your authenticity, and especially for that beautiful tribute to your mom - including the vocal one (and your voice sounds gorgeous and full of true feeling, so no need for humility). Oh, and the review was helpful, too! :-)
Goodness me, Tammy. I am very sorry about your Mum. Very touching video. Thanks for sharing and I hope you are okay. Much love from Steve in South Australia.
I've found your channel while checking for review for my very first podcast setup. I'm so moved by your professional voice. And I'm sorry for your lost. Now you've got a new fan from Cambodia.
Thank you so much for your kind response. I'm still not over it, especially Mother's Day coming up this Sunday. I guess I'll never get over it. Thanks for watching.
I'm sorry for the loss of your Dad, I know it's still very painful even several years later. I hope my Dad can last at least another 25. He still looks good.
I thought it strange that I hadn't seen a new video from you in a while, now I understand, I'm really sorry about your loss, thank you for sharing that with us. If it's any comfort, you seem like a beautiful person inside and out, I'm sure your mother would be proud. 🖤 A heartfelt smile from Mexico!
You're so very sweet. Thank you. I hope she was proud of me, I really do. Just seems like not having kids was a mistake, all she wanted was a grandkid from me. I shoulda popped one out when I had the chance. LOL.
Lost my pop in 2018 😔 He was the singer in our family. It’s still hard to for me to sing since he’s been gone so thank you for your courage to sing and the great review. Just bought this mic and I’m looking forward to using it soon. Cheers.
Tammy Sypniewski ❤️Thanks for the kind words. Sorry for you loss and my apologies for not saying that in my first comment I just got a little caught up in my own head and emotions which I’m sure you understand. Keep singing and encouraging. Subscribed.
Wow! Thanks for the review Tammy. Well covered. However, like another commenter, I've learned more than info about the microphone etc. You reminded me that life really is short and that we really have to appreciate who we have and not lose sight of that. You sound and look like a beautiful person both inside and out lady. So very sorry for your loss, the pics of your mom were great. I'm a musician myself and you do have a pretty good voice as well - don't sell yourself short:) You truly made my day! Thanks.
I was just perusing youtube to get some information on the Maono mic that I bought but got launched on a wonderful nostalgic trip. I lost my mother 10 years ago and I think about her everyday. My condolence to you and your family. Thanks for the song.
Hi Tammy, I just found your channel today and subscribed. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Thank you for sharing something so personal with us. Your mother is so beautiful! I lost my daddy last year and my heart is so sad. Sending prayers and hugs to you and your family. May your mom rest in perfect peace.

Hi Tammy, greetings from Brazil! I found your channel months ago because of the Boya by-m1 lav mic review you did, but the video before that caught my attention... it was the "86 subscribers giveaway" video you did... That video really motivated me to start my gameplay channel... and i'm at 82 now!!! Anyway, i just wanted to thank you and say that i really like your content!
This MAONO condenser mic review makes you cry in the last part lol hhaha but thats really the truth. By the way thanks for sharing your wonderful review of the mic. And also for the reminder of humanity. GOD BLESS YOU
Awesome video TAMMY. Sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom a week before her 85th birthday and a week before Mothers Day. Then a month later I lost my oldest son. Wow I love your voice. Your singing sounds so amazing. Keep the amazing content coming. That mic is incredible. Hope you have an awesome night. Your still as beautiful as ever. Much love
Oh no Tim. I had no idea you lost a child. There's nothing worse than that, nothing. Parents you expect to lose them, it's still not easy of course but that's supposed to be the order of life. I'm so sorry that you endured that kind of pain. I can't even begin to imagine it, no one can. Only people who lose children can understand what you're going through. I'm so sorry Tim. Now I'm crying again.
Yes, please believe that she is dancing in heaven. No more aches and pain. Free from any worries. I will keep you in my prayers for strength and to lighten your heavy heart...
Just a small remark from a viewer who happens to be a phonetician about the term "plosive". This term does not specifically refer to "p's and b's", but rather to a feature of different consonants called "manner of articulation". Plosive consonants are consonantes in which sound is created by holding air coming up from the lungs between two articulators (in the case of 'b and 'p it's the upper and lower lips) in the oral cavity or the larynx and abruptly releasing that air. t's are plosives. k's are plosives. b's and p's are *bilabial* plosives. The word "plosive" derives from "plosion" which is also related to "explosion". The 'p' in the beginning of "plosive" is a nice coincidence.
John Spamp Thanks John. I’m red hot about what that a hole is saying about our USPS. He intentionally wants to suppress voting by defunding the USPS. People aren’t going to stand for that!
Good video Tammy good to see you back sis I have an audio interface I still don’t have one of those scissor arm stand and a shock mount and all that stuff been meaning to get one but it’s not viable at this time
i buy the Fifine FIFINE K669 USB Condenser Microphone its work great for the price...am so happy to see you again you smile just like your mom and you have a beautiful voice, your mom soul will Rest In Peace
Thank you so much, yes, I absolutely believe that my beautiful Mother is in Heaven with our Father. Amen. Thank you for your comment, May God Bless you my friend.
Hey Dmgogul. Yeah, I took a break because my Mom died and I just didn't feel like doing anything except sit there in shock. I have other videos that I made but they're for Movo products that they sent me and I'm not allowed to go live with them until they give me the thumbs up.
Heyy can u clear me something I'm gonna buy focusrite amplifier so I'm buying this mic too the moano au pm 421 so 1.can I connect this mic to that amplifier like the mic is not 3 pin microphone so how can I connect amplifier to this mic 2. is it possible to connect like that plz tell mee..soon
i thought the shock mount is made to reduce the sound being picked up by the microphone. base on your test it seems the shock mount idea is over rated?? or maybe the shock mount is to reduce shakes coming from the table shaking and any movements you made on the mic arm is too much for any shock mount to reduce? thank you for this review its very comprehensive.
JayGrapher.Th It’s a great mic and the only issue I had with the entire kit was the cheap arm. Every other aspect of the kit was quality. Totally worth the 64$ IMHO. 👍
A lav mic would be the most economical option for sure. I did a video on the pop voice you might want to see. Or for a little more the Movo vxr10 pro is great. I also made a video on that.
I’m sorry to say but dropping a condenser mic, even if it’s body is made of metal, will destroy your mic. 75 $ for this kit looks quite a low price, sounds like so too.
