Maono PD200X XLR/USB. Is it worth a try? You bet it is! Clear sound and glorious RGB. Savage puts this mic up against the legendary Shure SM7B. Dive in and check it out! This mic is clear and clean. You will need a preamp. if you go the XLR route. Which I did. It will cost you a little more. Unless you are already set up for one. This mic can be tweaked to get the best sound for your voice with the USB Maono Link app. Which is free from Maono. Check out the video for more details. Ready to stream, game, podcast, blog and more.

Thanks for the post and awesome review. I personally like this mic. I've been using it for my clients on podcast shows only. I'm creating a review of this mic in a real world setting. Overall what's your honest and final rating on this mic using the XLR out with no use of the software? Does it depend on the type of sound mixer used, cables, etc. Thanks again and great to hear this review your style is up.

Thanks for sharing and dropping by. The mic is great for the price point. It’s clear and sounds like a broadcasting or podcasting microphone. Using the XLR connection you can use different plug ins or VST’s to tweak the sound to your liking. I like to play around with the different sounds. Depending on what I’m doing or how I’m feeling when I’m doing vocals. Maono makes great budget conscious products. That works great! I’ve done a review on their new Maonocaster C2 Neo mixer. Which works great 😊. It pushes 60dB gain, Bluetooth and aux inputs. 1500mhA battery for portability. I love my Elgato Wave XLR interface. It comes with free VSTs or plug ins. It powers straight from the USB port and has 75dB gain. No preamp needed. Some people like the sound of the scarlet mixer. Amazon makes some good inexpensive XLR cables. Cable matters has good cables too. I’ll add these items links in the description. So, you can get straight to them. The mic is low out the box with the XLR connection, but has great potential. If you are familiar with a certain mixer and you like the sound it produces. That might be the mixer for you. As for as cable goes. Grab some with good reviews. Remember you don’t have to break the bank to get great sound. I hope this helps you on your journey. 💯🦾🫵 Keep me posted on how it turns out for you?

Holy Smokes@@SavageTechRaw what a in depth response. I truly appreciate you sharing and spreading your wealth of knowledge to me and the masses. I did check so cables on Amazon and purchased the recommended ones for my podcast. I;m using a Behringer mixer with lots of options for more sound control. I like the way you sound and my clients love the way they sound. Although I'm not the audio tech send from the gods, but I do know there's somethings I need to work on regarding setting my board. Anyway, thanks a many thanks for your honest review on this mic. I'll be sure to send you a link once I complete my review. Continue to inspire and create!
