I want to say thank you!!! You are the only RU-vidr to give the audience step by step instructions. For 2 weeks, I have been trying to setup this system 😮 I’m so grateful to find your video. Very helpful thank you
Thanks a lot for this much detailed explanation as I recently purchased this and finding proper tutorial and finally got it... I am from Chennai, India. Thanks again.
I’m also a Waray Waray and my papa loves to sing as well. We have the same model of Maono and I’m using IPhone 11 too. This is really helpful po, sangkay. ❤❤❤
So much effort you take to explain... so many stuffs and possibility of MC lite ..great ...hope they note and support you ...even they don't have such a combo and clear video
Most likely it’s the adapter issue. If you’re using a dongle, I got my lightning adapter from Apple Store. I don’t know yet what other brand works. Same with android, I got my usb c adapter from Apple Store.
@@jenuds it is because of issue with my one plus phone. When I have recorded with Samsung phone it is fine. Very useful for a stand up comedian and poet. Thanks for prompt reply.
There are different kinds of one plus phone. If your phone has headphone port-try connecting to that port directly. Sorry if I can’t do a test as I don’t have that kind of phone.
Thanks for the compliment. Don’t forget to use my discount code of buying from maono’s website www.maono.com/ 10% Discount code on any maono product: Jenudsstuffs
Thanks for this ..i was worried i couldn't use headphones with cord that has the mic ..thank for explaining it can be done 😸❤You sound beautiful too as well.
Hey there! Thanks for the detailed instructions, I followed but my playback doesn't have background music or the effects. So I read the comment and realize I'm using an lightning adapter (3.5mm to lighting) bought with cheaper price (not from Apple). I ordered from Apple and will receive it soon. Will comeback here to update if the problem solved with Apple Store adapter :D
Same here. The adapter I bought from Amazon only serves as headphone adapter for me to hear and won’t work for Recording. I’m hoping it’ll solve your problem.
Excellent video as always. Very nicely explained , various connections and functions of the device 👍 I have a few simple questions. 1. Can we reverse, like music from mobile and record or stream from lap top. 2. The Echo function is effective only on the Mike or it also changes the background music, which a singer doesn't want. 3. Is there a function of Elimination like in V8 sound card, where vocals are silenced from the song and you only listen the backround music. Thus creating a nice original karaoke track. I would be very happy to have your comments. Thanks
Thanks. Yes you can reverse- Music from mobile while Record/stream from Laptop. Echo is only for mic connected to the sound card not to the background music. Elimination effect from other sound card is called Music Only in Maonocaster.
Hi Jen I have watched almost all your tutorials about setting up a livestream device ( Maonocaster Lite) it was perfect and clear.. thank you so much for that.. I have followed your instructions step by step and I am happy cause I can hear how I sound properly from the earphones the mic and background music in general myself perfectly but the problem is if I go to my dummy account to test how I sound or atleast the background music effects and everything it’s not picking it I can’t hear anything fr Beautifulom my dummy thank you account. Can you pls five help? I am getting frustrated now.. I am using an iPhone for live streaming and apple Mac for the background music …
Check first if the Rec volume is on high. If you did but still no audio effects not going into your streaming, most likely it’s the phone adapter issue as some adapters you can only hear but will not work for Recording/Streaming. I bought my lightning adapter from the Apple Store. I had bought adapter from other store but didn’t work for Recording/Streaming.
@@jenuds yes so my husband said that was why we bought ordered an original apple adopter which is arriving on Monday.. I hope this works.. apart from the adopter is there something I need to set up or install in my iPhone if still doesn’t work?
Most likely you’re issue is the lightning adapter. Perhaps your adapter is only for headphone and won’t record or stream. I bought mine from Apple Store.
Sorry to hear that. Most likely it’s the lightning adapter issue. Try recording just the sound effects, if it won’t record then it’s the lightning adapter. If it records the sound effects- let me know as the issue could be different. I bought my adapter from Apple Store.
wow It's was life saver!! Thanks very much from the bottom of my heart!! I loved your explanation and it's was very didactic!! Thanks again!❤❤❤✨⚡⚡🌟⭐⭐🙌🏽🙌🏽✨❤❤❤❤❤
I am struggling right now in doing set up with mu newly ordered Recording set. At first, there is no INPUT in the back of the condenser. Its just OUTPUT1 and OUTPUT2. The rest, i totally follow your instructions. Unfortunately, its not working.
For Maono lite, there should be MUSIC 1 INPUT aside from the 2 mic input. If you are trying to record to a phone, I have a feeling that the issue is the adapter. Are you using lightning adapter for iphone?
Hi, I’m having trouble using it , because I have an iPhone 11 and the sound doesn’t come out from the manocaster to my iPhone , of course I’m using a lighting adapter , the same you are using . I’m trying to livestream on tik tok , but my audience can’t hear what I am monitoring on my earphones 😩help please
First thing I can suggest is to test if you’re using the right lightning adapter. Please do this as in this video link. Just forward to part for b Maonocaster. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ILQcRfj6aaY.html
It sounds like adapter issue. If you’re using an iPhone, perhaps you are using the lightning adapter for headphone only so you can hear everything but it will not record or stream. I got my lightning adapter from apple store.
Hi, thanks. Yes, I think maybe it’s adaptor issue, I have the lighting adaptor too from apple store but it’s not with me when I tried following your setup. Will try soon with my apple adaptor! Thank you ❤
I was considering between this Maonocaster Lite and Maonocaster AME2, which one would you recommend for livestreaming (including singing)? once again thanks for the informative sharings and reviews. :)
It’s the Zingyou condenser mic. There first 1 on this list www.amazon.ca/shop/jenudsstuffs/list/2WAW9D6ZBFZMR?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_aipsflist_aipsfjenudsstuffs_MQ5TG1HCDJXGF0MWXH2C
Hello, I have question, I have follow your tutorial but when stop recording why the come out output is only my voice but not with the music ? please help me
If you used an iPhone to record, most likely it’s the lightning adapter issue. If you’re using the wrong one (headphone adapter only), you will only hear it but will not record. To check if you have the right adapter for Recording, please check this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ILQcRfj6aaY.html I got my adapter from Apple Store, if not get the adapter that’s supports calling.
When the Manocaster is turned on do I need to connect the Bluetooth to anything such as the phone, computer or tablet or can I bypass using the Bluetooth function on the Manocaster?
You don’t have to use the Bluetooth function if you don’t want to connect music to the maono wirelessly. You don’t even have to connect music if you don’t want to.
Hello, with this system, can you turn off the phone's microphone and broadcast live with the computer's sound? The phone should not transmit external audio to the live broadcast, only the audio coming from the computer will be heard. Is it possible?
I'm not sure if I'm getting what you meant. Perhaps this video link answers your question - streaming from a laptop instead of phone ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Qj5CtsyUaY.htmlsi=o_7Dv9tvkYnjWKW1
@@jenuds I will open the live broadcast from the phone, but the sound will come from the computer. Since I open the live broadcast from my phone, will it give voice-over to the broadcast? I just want the audio from the computer to go to the broadcast.
Hi, is this compatible with the ihpone 11 ? im using the same maono lite and followed t he steps on your video, unfortunately it wont record the music and the mic
It should work as my iPhone 8+ and 12 works. Most likely the issue is on the lightning adapter. First to test if you are using the right one here is the video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ILQcRfj6aaY.html Now if its the lightning adapter issue, I bought my extra from Apple Store and it works for recording or streaming. Someone has message me if not original lightning adapter from Apple Store, select the one which supports calling. I can’t really assure you 100% coz I don’t have that kind of adapter yet.
Thank you for such a really amazing description video, it was very helpful and you have a beautiful singing voice 😊 Can I ask you given the choice between connections of the mobile phone headphone input or the usb adapter, what is the best for sound quality for streaming to a mobile device or is there no difference in quality? I'm using android 12 and after reading some more comments on this page it seems to make sure that the streaming records music from an external device via the maonocaster I will need a lighting adapter? 🙏
The lightning adapter is used for iPhone that don’t have headphone port. I have not actually did a comparison or I did not pay attention if there is difference.
My 2 phones samsung s8 edge and infinix cant receive sound from maono. But my samsung s6 can do it. I dont know why. Im trying using adaptor and still no sound.
I don’t have Samsung s8+ or s6 to test with but try using without adapter - from live or Pod output of Maono connect it to the headphone port of your Samsung and try recording.
Hi .. first thank you so much for this explanation.. i have a question please.. I'm a beginner and I'm planning to get this set .. but i don't want to get an XLR mic .. i want to get a wireless mic like the (rode wireless go ).. i feel I'll be more flexible using it .. my question is CAN I CONNECT IT WITH THE SAME ALL OTHER CONNECTIONS THAT YOU MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO? .. i want the same background music and i will use an i phone like you .. but the difference is in the type of mic .. And if i can connect the wireless mic please tell me how ..and what i need Thanks again 🌸
Sorry If I can’t tell you if Rode wireless go mic would be compatible to Maono as I do not have it yet so I can’t really test it out. I don’t want you to buy it if it’s not gonna work. Not unless to can at least return it if it won’t work. So far for wireless condenser or dynamic mic, you just connect the receiver to the mic port of the maono then your mic should work. As far as I know, when you buy a wireless it comes with a receiver.
First make sure everything are plugged in properly. Check if the RECORD volume is on high. If yes, but still no audio effects like echo/reverb on your recording/ streaming, most likely it’s the phone adapter issue as some adapters like the ones I bought from other store you can only hear but will not work for Recording/Streaming. I bought my lightning adapter from the Apple Store and that’s what I’m using for my videos.
Hello po! how come I can't get the sound to be heard when i'm doing a youtube live po? I can hear it, but my audience can't hear my music. They can hear my voice but not my music. I don't know why
Have you tried this on an IG live or tiktok? Can viewers hear the effects in real time? (Mine can’t) I have it connected to the pod output but only I can hear the effects in my headphones
You should be able to do that by connecting Pod 1 or 2 or 3 to the headphone port of your iPad, then open the built in camera of your iPad then set to video then start recording
@@jenuds would i hear the phone output on the same headphones instead of my own voice? I'm not interested in monitoring. Just having a better voice while gaming and being able to hear the game. All with the same headset,no separate mic
For streaming or recording from your iPad, connect from the headphone port of your iPad to the Pod 1, or 2 or 3 port of Maonocaster Lite. If you want to use other device for Recording and iPad as your background music then connect it from headphone port of iPad to the music input of Maonocaster lite.
Can you connect the audio interface to android using usb cable ( using the interface as a sound card on android ) ? I need to record a keyboard in stereo using my android. If i connect this interface in to andoid using sound cable and adapter the sound will be recorded in mono, not stereo.
Thank you so much your explanation is very clear. I have a question which is: If I have USB Condenser mic, how do I connect to the Sound card? And the output through a speaker. Is this possible? Grateful for your advice.
Hi, when i try to do recording, my playbacks does'nt have background music and the effects or the echo, it only recorded my raw voice.. how can i solve this?
Thank you so much for all the detailed videos that you have in your channel. Question: Is it possible to route the live voice effect with the same setup?. Like i want to add autotune, reverb, compressor effects but from the softwares like adope audition. I usually do this when I stream from pc or mac. But dont know if i can route the same effects from the pc to phone like this. Thank you so much
So I have tested it again using TRS and TRRS cable to connect music from the laptop and audio output are the same. I can hear both mic audio and music audio from the laptop in both Left and Right of my earphone.
Hello! I'm using maono soundcard with dynamic microphone from sennheiser, whenever I play music on the background from youtube for my instrumentals, the reverb effects of the mic is being sacrificed. The reverb is back again when there is no more background music. Please help. Thanks!
In my opinion, you best option is using a laptop as you can control your background music from there as well. You can increase your monitor, mic & echo volume and decrease the background music.
You need the right adapter. Get lightning to 3.5mm adapter from Apple Store. The adapter I bought from other store didn’t work for Recording/Streaming - it only let me hear all effects
Yes Music input will work as well and gives you option to select which background music source to use however you can play both at the same time if you want. Just control the volume from the pc and on the other source.
It’s a sign that the device is not connected to the sound card. Perhaps the adapter you’re using. I got my lightning to 3.5mm and usb c to 3.5 mm from apple store. Are you using iPhone or android? There is other way with different cord/adapter not from Apple Store.
@@jenudsim using iphone 14pro.. and also using the mentioned lightning adapter from apple.. but it seem it doesnt take effect on mostly the echos.. but the pitch button works.. can it be the soundcard issues? but from the headset sounds perfectly fine.. ive followed the steps u show
@@matnurkecik1018 If it records the voice changer (Pitch) then you have the right lightning adapter. It should also records the vocal effects like echo. I presumed you make sure to set REC volume on high, is that right? I hope you used the TRRS w/ 3 lines from the Live port of Maonocaster Lite to connect to the lightning adapter connected to your phone. Otherwise, it could be defective-not very likely but possible. Another possible connection is thru the USB C port by using a lightning camera adapter (which does not have from apple store) then connect a USB C to A from the USB C port of maono the to lightning camera adapter respectively.
All that is fine. It is recorded in the mobile as mono audio or the live is mono audio, even though we are playing stereo. The audio is fed by mono mic inout. Is there a solution to that?
If you want to use a Bluetooth headset, you will need a Bluetooth transmitter. It is like connecting a BT external speaker in this video link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nkBVz1CZu-o.html
Here is a video for you ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tH0GrJm3qMQ.html. If you hover almost to the end of the video, you will see what cord is needed and where to connect. I hope it’ll help.
Kung bosses lang narerecord, malamang from built in mic lang yong. When you record, did you make sure Record volume is on high? Make sure nakasaksak mabuti. Kung d parin magwork, ang lightning adapter nyo, is it original? Kasi ang nabili ko sa ibang store ayaw rin gumana kaya bumuli ako sa Apple Store.
thanks very much for this lesson but i really wished it help me. i have watched alot ,over and over doing one and thesame thing but it doesnt work out well. i want to be able to record both back ground music as in sound system plus my on voice especially when using side chain. when i start recording on the phone im using as camera or live stream, it only records what it gets and not the sound from maono caster even though connected to it. please do help me out.
Are using an iPhone or Android that uses an adapter? Most likely the issue is on the lightning or USB C adapter. @@jenuds thanks for the reply. It finally worked when I used the usb cable for laptop. I just realized when I connect the lightning adapter to my phone , it does not connect properly. I'm using android, when I went under the camera settings to check Mike I realised for it to record the phone as to record system mic n it was off so I kept trying until it signalled external mike. Whenever you see circle and square icon video on the corner, you are hearing the recorded audio from the phone. I only need a lightning adapter because my iPhone does not have a headphone port.
Sorry that I don’t have that phone to test with. As long as you have the right usb c adapter, it should work. Make sure it’s properly plugged in the right spot or ports.
Yes you can if you use the built in camera of your phone, you are recording both audio and video to your phone. You may also use a separate camera for the video then just sync or combine them afterwards.
