Is this the new phat Bob? It's like the old blaster and the phat Bob have swapped colours. I think I need this snare too.

It's close but I think the big difference is the bearing edge cut. Blaster was also killer

@@jeff_towers yeah, I'm pretty sure the phat Bob had the same edges. 45 and a rounded. I very nearly bought one way back then but I like the new colour scheme. Killer dude. I love the ring mute. Sounds like you're swinging an axe into a mighty and ancient oak. SUBBED!

Ya I think you are right in fact I'm pretty sure it also had the reinforcement rings too. The rest of the blaster kit did. Well the blaster was great and has been discontinued for a few years so why not re do the idea in matte black hey. This snare was by request of the new Canadian rep. He had used one on a session and raved about it so I checked it out! Thanks for the sub
