Went to see game six Leafs vs Caps at Maple Leaf Square, brought the Zhiyun Crane gimbal, my Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and the Sony a6500. I tried to capture the tailgate party vibe during the NHL playoffs downtown toronto.
Dale Roossien sorry newbie question but what is pro colour? I just got an A6500 myself and I am looking to get that sigma lens myself your vids are inspiring man keep it up!
Thanks man, when you shoot in the cine modes, or slog, (which you find in you menu under picture profiles) you'll see you have the option to change your colour space around (they give you different looks in terms of colour) there's cinema colour, pro, still, etc. I like pro colour because it's fast and requires very little grading to get it looking good.
0:36 very awesome catch, as the angry looking leather jacket guy walked out of frame to the right after yelling at that lady... smooth... you are selling the shit out of this Zhiyun Crane LOL! I'm still gonna hold off...you're getting good quick man... great job..only thing is I hate baseball...
Awesome video man! I subbed on Saturday and have been steadily binging a little lol. That was a heart breaking game but there was a silverlining... We have Auston Matthews :)
"protein I suppose" LOL! That Sigma color is amazing to my non professional opinion. Not sure if you are accepting the video ideas, but I'd like to see a vlogging "rig setup" video from you and (or) your thoughts about vlogging with a gimbal.
Great video Dale, thinking about buying the 6500 also but that rolling shutter even with the gimbal could be a big problem for me seeing as I shoot music videos idk sigh
Crane seems pretty bouncy as you walk through the crowd. I know you were just casually shooting, but still, is it always like that? I'm considering buying one.
Yep, two reasons for that: One...the sigma 30mm isn't stabilized, and two... I wasn't feeling confident enough to be ninja walking around in that kind of a crowd. Oh yeah, and the wider the lens the less bounce and shake you'll get.
