HildeBEAST! Its really hard not to get excited about the future of this kid. The Leafs haven't had this type of goaltender depth in a very long time. Also, I really feel bad for Laine. If it wasn't for bad luck, he would have no luck at all. 4 down, 2 more to go.
@@mrnoob1275 we didn’t have our full lineup and you only got 2 goals. We lost at 2 players in the first couple minutes. Then wifi got kicked out for pounding that coward. We had and AHL forward playing defence. But yes. Nylander and Robertson are AHL players. 😛😛😂😂
Nick proving the doubters wrong. Hopefully, they don't trade him like the reports are saying. Would be a mistake. Habs chased the buds around all game😂 No big guns in the lineup, and the youngsters took it to Montreals' best guys. Shows the depth on the squad. Goaltending was solid. Kids a gem. Happy for the fellas. GLG!
Man hildbey looks good, he made everything seem so effortless. Definitely think he would’ve had that goal too if he had his stick. Can’t wait to see him in a yr or 2 especially now with some help from stolarz.
Knies… “keeping it warm for the guys back home” lol love that guy. That’s a player with heart, seen it twice now in the playoffs. More guys like him will help, can’t afford floaters anymore. Go leafs!!
Apparently he came in 10-15 pounds heavier and I bet most of it was muscle. In one interview Tanev was even saying he was surprised at how strong he was and iirc even the sens mentioned it
You destroy the knee of Patrik Laine probably for the season and injure our 2023 first pick in a preseason game, of course the players will get mad what dis you expect
@@gabrielmoreau1087so the habs trying to destroy our star players on Thursday doesn’t matter? They tried to do the same thing. Nobody is happy about Laine being out, as a leafs fan who likes this Habs roster that was devastating and an understandable response but saying the leafs were targeting on purpose is crazy cause the young Habs roster on Thursday was playing with the same aggressiveness
@@gabrielmoreau1087 He literally wasn't moving... Laine skated into him with his legs spread and fkd himself up. He didn't need to try and thread the needle into a non-moving player. Relax.
@@Matt.d13 i mean he was trying to pass through 2 players, i believe that's what explains how open his legs were. for sure a sad moment to be a habs fan
@@sonic1957 Nick's game has evolved in terms of team responsibility on the ice. This looks like it could be his breakout season as a solid team player.
Connor Timmins had a good game tonight. I think Timothy Liljegren is the guy the Leafs should trade. $3 million cap hit - that money could be used to Robertson, Lorentz and Pacioretty
During the course of an NHL season, you're going to need at least 8 defensmen. I say keep em all if possible. It's a lot easier to find a 4th line winger than it is to find a top 6 defensman.
@@chrisg1556 Liljegren is useless. I'd rather use Timmins, who has a real knack at getting the puck through to the net and is more reliable defensively than Liljegren and I think Rafai would be used at that 8th guy.
I dont say im right on that specific situation but sometimes you smile when you feel bad or dont know how to deal with a situation! But i dont know if its the case here
Robertson, given the room I feel can perform well! He also is talking about Hildabeast! A player who is talking about the team first is the kind of player that deserves a spot on the lineup!
@@chamber32doorsLeafs chance to contend for the Cup has passed. They capped out as first round losers. Habs still entering their prime or just starting their career. And. The cap is going to go up. Meanwhile , leafs bottom 2 lines suck and overall average goaltending and defence at best.
No nonsense guy. Isn't going to tolerate poor play and BS and will bench guys. FINALLY. I just hope this roster has it in them to to play with the heart he will demand.
Is there anyone out there that is also sick and tired of the play by play guys constantly yapping every moment of the game. Its time for an option with just game action sounds. We dont need anyone telling us who has the puck and all the useless chatter. Very annoying.
Alright, we will send our worst Laval players break Mathew’s legs. You know because Mathew’s is so weak that he won’t be able to « be a man » and play with a leg that has just been obliterated
@@lililolli792 im not wishing harm, im saying that calling us the softest team after injuring star players is just disgusting. I did a comparison so he could understand (even with his low amount of brain cells) how fucked up that is
Montreal got back what they usually give the leafs...injuries to the best players. And no , doubtful Robertson goes to waivers. Fix your scoring woes through the draft.
Some players have no skills for fighting, and it's not part of their game. Fighting can be entertaining, and useful when two skilled guys put on a show, or the whole team gets into a scrum, but it is not a necessary part of the game.
Once people watch the tape , they will realize Pare was not moving, he was standing at the blue-line, Laine came in with his legs spread, and the room to move was nonexistent. No one goes Knee on Knee intentionally, it could easily hurt you worse.
He tried to punch the puck out of the zone off Laine's stick. Its hard to tell what happened on a phone screen so I can see why people think it was dirty.
Thankfully, most of Leafs fans feel bad to too. There's only the most degenerates that take pleasure in another's misery. Then again...they get shut out every season. Gonna be fun the watch the Leafs make the league laugh at them again this season. 😁
By all means maple leafs fans keep flexin now in an irrelevant preseason game where u had to injure 2 big players to win , hope you like getting thrown around like dirty laundry (by the players) because it doesnt seem to me like habs players or fans are gonna forget tonight anytime soon
Habs fan and I understand Paré. He knows what the punishement and why. I don't hate the guy but I wouldnt be surprised he's a target first game of the season.
@@Chabot1801 I mean I do do you he's only been on the All-Star team once. He played for 8 years and is a drunk gambler. And who the fuck goes across the blue line with their legs spread. He doesn't know where he belongs and that's why he jumps around team to team. He's played with injuries because he doesn't condition well enough. Auston Matthews Just in goals has 368 right now Patrick combined his goals and his assist he has 388

@@alexanderh.999Dunno man, we won both games without Matthews, Tavares and Nylander. You can make threats all you want, but Xhekaj will run away from Reaves every time. Hopefully Slakovsky didn't feel too much from Rifai's one-punch.
@@peacebringer8 Rifai was the one bleeding after the fight and Reave was the one thrown into the net last season and avoided Xhekaj like he was his worst nightmare for the rest of the game lol I know theses guys terrify the Leafs and it fans but spouting nonsenses as a coping mechanism is pathetic. Learn to grown up a little. 🤣
Will the Habs try to claim leafs players off the waiver wire, like Robertson if they become available ? The Habs need scoring if Laine is out for sometime.
