I have a silver maple grove that I tap for maple syrup every other year. Love doing it! Takes a fair bit of time, but so worth it.

An incredible process. We were old school with the hand drill. No lines, gathered it by hand.

Stocked up on 9 bottles of maple syrup for the winter. Plus 4 big jars of unpasteurized honey and 6 bottles of raspberry jam. All good local NB products. The world might be going to hell in a handbasket but I'm taking ALL the good stuff with me. I think I need more maple syrup though.....probably 3 more bottles. When we all run out of maple syrup....only THEN will we cry....."Canada has fallen!" Don't let that happen! Next March tap those maples!!!!
