It's my honor to help the players of this game. I'm glad it's beneficial to you. I've been noticing a lot of information and guidance missing from this game and the content creators it has. Im open to questions and suggestions for the guide and future videos
@@uncappedgames5200I just realized you replied to my comment yesterday about this. Really glad someone made one finally I was about to make one myself since there’s nothing like it on the internet and progression gets so messy in the mid game to late game
bruh no slime ring in over 80 runs?! thats wild xP You WILL GET IT TOMORROW TRUST!!! Shoutout the guide i know you put alot of time into it. Very helpful
Thank you! I'm glad I've been able to help! :D Best of luck with 22starring! I've gotten close to quitting sometimes because of booming... I mean.. "quitting" and coming back later lol
Great guide! ill be checking the Doc but just by listen/watching ur video makes me lot of sence and i need to adjust some steps on my own road cuz i was a little bit lost! thx!
awesome video as always i still tune into your vids to see where I am at and this one was really helpful. I am now 275 with 7k legion and got all my arcane gear to 17 stars but one. Only thing I need to work on meso drop gear but my luck with rates is iffy lol. 300 SAC too so I have made great progress and going to hit my year mark in Aug.
I appreciate your kind words! Meso/Item drop gear seems so pointless, but once you have a full 100meso/200drop farming set, you'll notice a colossal difference in your experience with the game and farming.
Thank you for the guide it answered so many of my questions. I am an old school mapler and just getting back into the game after many many years. I'm doing everything I know to get CRA bosses down but kinda struggling to find ways to bring my damage up to where it needs to be. For now I'm just focusing on getting decent 1 lines and leveling my symbols. Any other suggestions for breaking the CRA barrier for a new player?
I'm glad I'm able to provide any answers! for CRA as a new player, run with a party at or higher than your damage point - aka a struggle party/struggle run. I recommend getting your Ignore Enemy Defense (IED) to around 88-92% if you can, again this can be done with your WSE potentials. Legion can definitely help with this as well. Other than that, the guide goes over what you should be doing in order to reach the next phase of the game. ATT%/M.ATT% can be a big help. If all else fails, resort to leveling up and legion.
I appreciate the kind words! I've updated it quite a bit as of recent, too. Hopefully the new changes coming soon will be a good change for you to come back to.
Glad to be back! I have a few ideas for content that the community as a whole has not had access to yet, or is hard to access, but is out there. I'd like to eventually make a hub for data and guides that anyone can access (for free) because I don't want to see this game die. Luckily, GMS is making generally better decisions to improve the game so I hope we continue on this path together for a better Maplestory.
@@uncappedgames5200 yeah keep doing your thing bro. ur guides were super helpful to me when i was first starting out and learning everything. fast forward 6-8 months im now 285 and about to lib next week lol
Are you saying that you mentally get stuck or that you don't know how to do the next step? If it's a mental block, then, sadly, I don't have much to assist with that. The game is super super grindy and doesn't necessarily meet peoples' needs for fitting a style.
But I can recommend just switching play style to a daily player (only dailies, weeklies, and events then logging off) Then, later on when you log back on and have more interest, you'd have already done a lot of the time-gated stuff and probably have a ton of mesos to use
@@uncappedgames5200 Mentally. I prefer to work on other characters than to star my gear to 21 stars because of how expensive it is. So once I get a character to the point of being able to solo CRA and/or Normal LoMian, I move on to a new character, especially if there is a Burning Event. This also helps me build my Legion - I'm only in the 5000s.
@@4nothernpc It all depends on what goal you have in mind for the game. If that brings you joy, you're not in the wrong. At the end of the day, you're playing this game, primarily, to have fun. Playing it your own way is the right way. I just wish to relay the information to those so they can make the best decisions for themselves. If you want to reach the end game, this guide will help you best. If you want a mental boost in motivation, I personally cannot provide much, but maybe check Duky or Ereklo_games or Matt to see if end game content inspires you.
So I am a returning player after a 2 year break is it no longer best to transpose a pap mark which is a myth in the first place into sweet water tattoo and just go for twilight mark instead?
Yep. The game updates and changes things. That's the unfortunate part about video content - can't update it live, it would have to call for an entire new video. But if you need this video, with all due respect, may as well treat it as "forever" or at least til 14-18 months in of diehard grinding.
@@uncappedgames5200 i don't even think limbo is gunna be doable on release atleast in reboot, so realistically it'll probably be another year before anyone is even able to kill him and another year to get the gloves to 22
Is it nesserary to do commerci and get tattoo or monocle? Dont know if they are better so i should grind commerci (also wanna know if they are used for meso drop gear or damage)
So, I personally, do not like the commerci items. I use them because I already have them, but the investment, again, to me, is not worth it. Technically, they are good ~enough~ to warrant doing dailies for quite some time to get them. I didn't add them to the list purely because I didn't see it as necessary. They can be used for both damage and farming gear.
The struggle.. IT took me a LOOONG time to even see one, looted my first the first time i won blink (after 30 attempts). Then, I started seeing them every month or so.
OG mapler coming back (3rd official return to maple 😅). Heres the position im in i have most good link skills (about 10-12 at level 2) meaning i also have a decent legion. Through my past plays ive managed to sell some legacy gear from my previous play time and a mass what i think is decent gear, however i am still not really close to taking out any chaos or hard level bosses like zak/hilla/CRA. For reference my gear is roughly 4-5 pieces of absolab thief, and the rest is the free CRA set you get for a burning character. Is this legitimately not enough to do basic bossing? My xenon that is my main with these equips has nearly 600k range (which i thought was alot) but i legitimately cant even make a dent in Chaos zak 😅. Im getting discouraged because i dont intend to be a crazy grinder/time invester, but it feels like i don't even have my foot in the door to do any meaningful content. Any tips?
I was in a similar situation until I started doing dailies and upgrading the arcanes, and enhancing Nodes, this made a huge difference. Now I can kill Chaos Zak easily
@@fer004. You're spot on, this was 4 weeks ago and in that time with the newest event, burning, 0-100, and daily event gifts my progress has skyrocketed and I can now handle czak with ease. All the things you mentioned helped tremendously. If anyone reads this and is wondering what to do next, arcane symbol leveling, legion, node progress will raise your range/damage WAY more then any item you can reasonably get!
I've run a few CSlime runs, but I've been solo'ing because I've been preached upon to just do NSlime runs, and CSlime group runs have been scuffed in my experience. I should be running CSlime, self-admittedly
I'd say quite the opposite. Now that boss hard carries are gone, you will absolutely need absolab items in order to manage 5% in bosses so to get arcane items and stronger.
I would put Maple Onyx and Treasure into Phase 1.5 territory. You want to slowly replace the treasure set with Abso pieces and slowly get golux still. Since once you get into Arcanes you'll want to transition away from Onyx.
@@Devonity_MS Though I agree, I am intentionally excluding event items because it is not accessible year round. However, I may try and add some extra tiers to make the gaps between 2-3 and 3-4 not so large and to make goals more obtainable.
