Essentially, the reason countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman and Yemen don't have rivers is because they technically do, they have bodies of water called Wadis, which although aren't rivers, they're the closest thing they've got to them. They're like rivers except they only flow some times of the year and they also contain some pockets of unflowing water.

Jack, I really have no clue if you read your comments so I feel a bit silly addressing you in second person but if you are reading this, thank you for this channel. I used to be absolutely godawful at geography and anything related to it, but after I started watching your videos I took it upon myself to try to learn the flags of all the countries. I think I've just finished memorizing Afrika's and even if it was just 57 countries I'm super proud of myself.

The UK doesn't just have a dispute with Argentina, they also have a dispute with Mauritius over the Chagos Archipelago (the British Indian Ocean Territory). The UK illegally split the Chagos from Mauritius so the US could build a naval base there and they forcibly removed the Chagossians who lived there. Both the UN and the International Court of Justice agree that the islands belong to Mauritius but the UK refuses to give them up

This is incorrect, while Britain would eventually get this land after WW1, at the Berlin Conferenc this land was designated to the German Empire as German South-West Africa

To my knowledge Germany and the Netherlands do have a territorial dispute about the exact border in the Dollart bay and in the lower Ems river. However, in 1960 both countries agreed that they disagree in this question. However, it is not a big problem and they agreed on sharing this area two years later.

6:32 I am assuming you are referencing the Bengal famine of 1943. Warning History Buff Incoming: The Bengal famine is an interesting one because it is referenced by many as Churchill's fault. In actual fact - It wasn't really... You see, the Bengal Famine was caused by the Japanese invasion of Burma. Bengal got most of its rice from Burma. As the famine started Churchill negotiated grain being transported into Bengal from Australia and obtained 5 ships from the USA to do so. These were off loaded into warehouses on the dockside but their was a fire that destroyed some of them. Additionally, local nationalist politicians refused to work with the British government agencies making it harder to distribute the grain. Furthermore, Crooked traders sold grain on the black market rather than distributing it to the poor. And to add salt to the wound, shipping (carrying food and weapons) was still being torpedoed in every major ocean by both the Nazis and the Japanese. Both the allies and the axis powers were all on heavy rations. There is ample documentation that negates the allegation that Churchill caused the famine. Unfortunately Revisionist historians forget there was a world war going on. In regard to the other reason people regard Churchill as being "evil": there is the claim that he was a "racist" which while true, is simply insane to be putting 2022 views on race onto a man born and raised in the Victorian era when racism, homophobia and sexism was the norm. History lesson over. I just felt that it was important to disprove the inexactitude Jack was helping to spread. The BBC provides a news service that isn't required to keep viewers to stay afloat. This is invaluable because it keep the news from being grossly exaggerated, such as in America, where news stations must keep their viewers engaged. How well the BBC does this, and how well it does journalism in general, are up for debate, but the concept, at least in my opinion, is sound.
