Great video man. I have a hard time with the multiple targets past 200m. Thank you very much for the great tips. Where I shoot, and practise, the guys do not want to share tips, they are afraid that you are going beat them.
I typically set my magnification before I start, and for the most part - I don’t touch it throughout the stage. Thank you for the positive feedback, and for tuning into the channel we’re working hard to build.

That’s just a section of adjustable height scaffolding. With a couple of 2x4’s screwed onto it for foot holds. Price looks to be about 200-250 for a section of this stuff
Love your videos, great tips for shooting a match. Quick question about tired of tires, doesn't say I have to shoot off top of angled tire, so what are your thoughts shooting it prone from lower edge of tire?
Thank you for tuning in to the channel! We appreciate it! So, about that first stage “Tired of Tires”, it doesn’t say you have to shoot from the top of that leaning tire. It’s fair game to shoot it from the lower edge.. and if that’s what makes sense to you on match day, run with it! I thought about it, but to me it made more sense to move myself, my rifle and my gear less between the positions to save precious seconds. But, just because I do it one way, doesn’t mean it’s the right way. You do what works for you when it’s your turn to send the pews.
For this COF my optic pretty much stayed at about 16x. On the St. Pattys Race stage, I bumped it up to 25x. I generally keep the optic at between 12x-16x for positional shooting for quicker target acquisition.. and only go higher when shooting prone.
Also worth mentioning.. that when building out the “ScopeCam” view (a combination of video editing magic and the footage from the Triggercam 2.1) for the video, it does limit the actual field of view that I see through my optic and adds some additional magnification to the footage.
Score was spot on! But, you make a good point.. and gave me a good idea! I should include a little score keeper at the end of the videos. I dropped 4 shots out of 54. Which isn’t too bad, considering the wind I usually fight in that canyon. Thanks for watching!
