I hope nobody is offended by me uploading this, While i'm not an HP old boy, I assisted on the Music Video with Glen Bates but havent been able to source a copy of it and i've only just found the CD with this track on it. This was the best i could do in a short time and the lack of HP images on the net. RIP Wiremu 85-02 Enjoy!
Churr bro 2much 4 da upload its nearly been 10 years since da bro wiremu has left us in da physical form but will remain spiritually in our hearts 4eva, miss u my bro str8 up. Much luv from da MacDonald whanau. Piri-Mac.
:(....... Thank u soo much for this dedication.... He rongo a-taringa he hokinga mahara for sure!!!! E te huia e noho puhi taioriori ana tenei au ka mihia xox "Willy-buck :p
Ka pai tenei waita. Kua tuhituhi ahau he waiata ki Wiremu. It has been performed in public concerts once or twice with my acoustic group. What struck me about Wiremu was what I understood to be his belief we should all whaia te tika and do what's right. And it seems he tried to stop a fight; something I have done myself a few times - I may have even stopped a murder or two; but Wiremu paid too high a price it seems to me. Anyway I came back to the song and am wanting to just make sure it is fitting and is truthful....I think I may have been in touch with Tom way back when I wrote the song...I also talked to a Kuia and my Maori bro (who did a concert with me in Kaitaia) in Northland about the story when I was writing it...I'd like to know what yous (koutou i roto i te whanau) think about my song....
Kia Ora brother, I’m an HP old boy this was one of my favourite songs during my time at kura... lovely waiata bro RIP WIREMU .... did you write this waiata with the bro ???
