Hey Mr Oldschool, The Marantz has service friendly design thoughts. The bulbs are fuse shape instead of hardwire soldered style. Also I didnt know that such form of LED drop in replacement exist until shown. That's good to know. I learned new technique here today. To reduce LED glare by light scuff it a bit. Thanks, sir! That was just part 1. The double diode thing is in part 2 which I just gotta upload. I really didn't explain everything, like dropping resistors, but there are dozens of videos out there and you already know your stuff anyway.

Im glad you have faith in my abilities...cuz I think they sux! :) I recapped a radio and now the dumb thing don't work, I've gone through and checked my work 3 times and even re-recapped it...I did find one cap in backwards and one of the new ones was dead, still no working....so that will go into the pile of round-to-its! :) Its a video I was doing for July 4th...Ill still post it, but its not the ending I was hoping for. Thanks for commenting! Re-recapping, now that is the first time I have heard of that! You are going where no man has gone before; the final frontier. I think you can solve the problem though; you got it in you. You do have enough skills. It's probably something so obvious you can't find it now.
And what voltage comes on the meter lamp sir? Is it 6.3 volts and what is the oruginal fuse type lamp's spec? Is it 8 volt 40mA? Tuning lamps (5 of them) are 8 volts 20mA for the old ones and the new LEDs are 8 volts 200mA? Am I right? Both lamp circuits are 6.5 volts?
Not sure you can help. I own a 2215b and the stereo light doesn’t work. The bulbs is fine just not getting any output power. Radio is working fine. Any ideas?
I think you can try adjusting R302, which is a blue potentiometer. Remember or mark your initial position and turn a little at a time. This is shouldn't take much turning. Once the light comes on you will notice if you turn to far each way, the light will go off again. You want the position right in the middle of these extremes.
