I have the AV7705 being powered by an MM8077 and an MM7055. Absolutely love this setup! Before this,s I have had five other Marantz receivers over the last 15 years

Question regarding marantz cinema 70s What are Pre out selection option available in setup software 1) is it just FL or All channels Or 2) can we select specific combo Eg fl, rear lr and leave rest channels for the receiver

Anthem (Avm 70/90) preamps are giving Marantz a run for their money. I hope Marantz is going to wow us in Cedia with those new line!

Nice to see content coming through for Sound United. I have always loved Denon, .. I am wondering if I will love Marantz as a processor based on that previous enjoyment. Thoughts?

No regertz with my 8805A. Grab a refurb one at A4L, no issues at all and comes with warranty. Reliable units that “just work”. Definitely you’ll love it.

@@HiFinest343 - Appreciate that feedback. I have a lot of confidence in the build and longevity. I own 2 denon now and looking for a 3rd. My 4308ci is still kicking ( but it has relay connectivity issues - and I can't find a good repair shop for it locally ) I know there is some differences in the Marantz sound character, so I am looking for details on that side of the ownership / implimentation. ( also, .. Audessy isn't the " best " but I would like to see a VERY details power user level adjustability program that allows users to set EVERYTHING manually.. with lots of options .. phase, timing, distances, papametric EQ points, bass management, multi sub... extra output config.. amp assign.. amp congif.. etc etc.. ) Sound United - if you read this, .. who do i Email?

Yes, I think so. Once I went from Denon to Marantz, I never went back. I left Denon when they went to D class.

@@m4nc1n1 - Denon Class D isn't as bad as some others I heard. There is a brand with mixed A/B and D and the back channels hiss like snakes. I understand the concerns over poorly designed or improperly oriented class D in a circuit. I like the idea of seperates. If I decide on Marantz for Processors, I suppose the amp choice will also introduce a synergy to play with.

Why did Marantz choose to implement only 1 HDMI input? I'd like to use 2 next gen consoles who do both 4k 120hz. That's not possible with only 1 input. I have the MM8077 and would love to have that AV7705, but I'll go with one that has at least 2 HDMI 2.1.

Why can’t you connect console to TV and get sound via eARC?

Not a fan of the circular display in the middle. Too tiny text displays. If you guys wanted it round-ish. Maybe an elongated or oblonggated display display for a much larger display.
