Marantz DAC Controversy. Where's the AK4490 DAC? [Part 1] 

It seems Marantz are replacing the AK4490 DAC with the ESS ES9010K2M DAC in their audio equipment but still advertising the AK4490 in the spec sheet.
Are other audio manufacturers doing the same?
