for this kind of unit u have to check from one by one 1.check the secondary voltage is present as per the spec. like 5v -5v 12 -12 etc. 2. then check the amplifier dc and ac detect pins without removing the amp unit. in my case i got a burned components and i am pretty sure about the fault symptoms. 3.check the all necessary voltage are present in HDMI board. 4.check any ic is dead short and voltage loop back so amp preventing the damage by going into standby. 5.check the dc line in amplifier section for voltage low and high. 6.check the standby board for relay driver functionality. 7.check the cpu ic protection pins for protection cause. 8.download the service manual and check every thing present in cpu ic. 9.do not remove anything until you find the culprit component, 10.do not check continually take some days gap then check again so that u got new idea's for fault finding.

I use it for testing at least a minimum of 4-5 hours or two movies . And I don't test with the ups and stabilizers , I check and work with normal house and shop AC lines. . For testing it's better because all customers don't have the ups and stabilizers. But using it via stabilizers will give you a long life and better performance.
