@@LathosZan Sounds like a deliberate choice, then. Could be wanting to try and not give the impression that teams are treating Marbula One as just a training program for Marble League.
Really impressed with Oragin’s perseverance in the final round. To get that far behind through the first 2 tracks and catch back up in the water, truly impressive performance!
@@RazvanMihaeanu Not just that, he shoulder tackled Cosmo into the wall on the sand stretch. Look at 3:52. He had plenty of room to move, but Cosmo was overtaking him, so he chose to tackle him rather than let him pass. A shameful display!
Blue Eye's showing off what they learned in the previous M1 season. They're finally taking those risks so characteristic of other CCE racers and tempering their aggression. #EyesOnThePrize
Being a Team Galactic fan is like a test of how many times you can have your heart ripped out out of your chest at the worst moments possible. Last season's Marble League was the most brutal
You must be new to being a Team Galactic fan if you're expecting medals. Someone didn't realize they had the longest gold drought in the league until the start of 2022's ML.
Forget it, this was not a RR event, the dreaded mabula one track was there... I swear, they'll need some serious therapy if they want to ever perform on such a track...
That first heat was WILD. Gliding glaciers and Galactic would have advanced in basically every other heat in every round except for their original and then semifinal 2 iirc. Wild how fast that first heat was
Oh boy... After winning last event, i was hoping that we would do it better here... So sad to see the Yellows on the bottom... Come on team!! We can win a couple more medals!! We believe in you!!! #KeepItMellow #GoMellowYellow
Our girl Orangin has performed again! She has proven time after time she's the best racer on the team. We really needed that medal this event! She may have only pulled out a bronze, but thats still a podium! And her performance in the semis was INCREDIBLE! Lets GOOOOOOOOOOOOO'RANGAERS! 🍊 Keep this momentum going!
@@junihanna371 Bull! If a marble crosses the finish line ahead... but at a slower speed... is not a winner because the one behind it has crossed it at a faster speed? Bull..sheeet! 🤣
Good showing by CCE. We are staying within reach and as long as no shenanigans happen like they always seem to, we should find our ways on the podium at the end.
I’m hoping that management has had a serious word with White Eye, today was a fine bounce back for the team but it can only be maintained if White Eye proves they’ve learned lessons.
@@WillMellquist The O'Rangers are the fastest team in the history of the relay and have held the record for years. They also have multiple medals from the event. I don't like them but this is a good shot at gold for them
They certainly needed the points, but I noticed that at the start, the farthest outside spot go the early lead and Orangin didn't have that spot in the finals. They gotta get a victory or two.
OCEANICS HQ, 1 MONTH AGO: "So here's the plan, guys, we knock out the Thunderbolts, lock them in a tackle box somewhere, and then we paint these gold stripes on ourselves. It's a foolproof plan! No one will ever suspect a thing!"
Ah, drat, that stop in the 4th corner of the semifinals really did Wuspy in. Midnight Wisps unbelievably fast in the water like always. They NEARLY caught the pack up again. Imagine if they hadn't gotten bumped to a halt there. Tough break.
More entertaining, easily! I think a good amount of the appeal for me is the clear artistry and passion. I mean come on, we're getting stop-motion-esque shots of marble crowds, fixing of signs with marble staff, and marble managers apologizing for outbursts I LOVE the marble league so much !!
I'm really impressed with Orangin's performance. The triathlon is a grueling event where you can race multiple times with little rest. He took a lot of hits in the final and had a serious gap to make up in the water. #Goooooooooorangers
Sometimes I wonder why I even support the O'rangers anymore. Orangin completely ruined his shot at the gold after finishing his slowest time by almost two seconds in the final! He was lucky to squeeze by Blue Eye at the end there. Overall performance in this year's Marble League is disappointing. Oh well. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
What a massive impact for Velocity there in the sand section, I'm impressed they were able to claw back a position after that. I hope they will be able to see a medic before the next event!
That slide-in overtake by Ecto really shows why I’m so enthused by the potential hidden in this team. A little more polish and they’ll be real competitors!
oh damn the triathlon is already here 👀 glhf y'all! SPOILERS Blue eye's strategy was seriously impressive, i feel threatened /lh WE'RE IN THE FINALS :D we definitely needed this ^^ BRONZE HELL YEAH 😆 congrats to our hosts and the snowballs for their medals, let's do well next event!
People who were in spot 1 seemed to have a major advantage in this event. Out of the last 5 heats 5 of them were 1st in the first 3rd and 4 won their respective events.
as a forever oceanics fan i fully agree. however, despite the dedication to training that they usually show, they are one of the older teams so as they slowed down, the younger teams have simply gotten better, and outpaced them at this point. i mean look at how many marbles from other leagues such as Marbula one and sand rally, have made their way into marble league that's no small achievement as we have seen.
The atmosphere from the get-go is excellent, especially Greg and his little friend lol. Props to all of the effort that goes into production and sound design!
The Bumblebees are certainly not affected by the host's curse! I have to hand it to them; they have been amazing. Not so great for the Raspberries this time round but they are still 4th overall and CCE are 3rd overall thanks to a great showing from Blue Eye. Can we reach even higher? I'm cheering for my teams! (P.S. I do feel bad for the Thunderbolts though.)
Was there confusion in this video's production? I was misled by Greg and the in-video event description. I thought it would be only four heats and the leaderboard would just be an arrangement of times fastest to slowest. Greg seemed to be under this impression halfway through as well. This made sense to me since a real triathlon is that way and it made sense not to run every marble in one heat. I only saw the video description after being shocked that Frost and Cosmo weren't in the top 5 overall. I'm used to the top 2 advance formula, but it was not communicated that way in the video and I think it doesn't apply well in a triathlon event.
This is the first time I've watched the marble league episode by episode, waiting those few days in between events, instead of just binging the compilations. This is definitely the more exciting way :D Go wisps!!
SPOILERS: A podium! Finally another podium! Excellent job by Orangin hanging tough and squeezing past Blue Eye in the water. That's exactly the kind of momentum we need, so let's carry it into the last few rounds. I still believe in you, O'Rangers! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I do too. I know those guys still got some fight in them even if they're well past they're prime. By the way, with that bronze the O'rangers have now passed 1,000 CAREER POINTS!!!!
Bad luck Mimo, I'm sure Team Momo will be able to claw back some positions in the next few events though. Have to say though, very impressed by Blue Eye today. That line through the sand in the heats was beautiful, a great showing for the cats eyes after the issues in the last few events
@@yeyawewin I don't know why Greg kept saying it was a timed event. It was clearly a "top two advance" progression. Maybe lack of communication here - advancement highlighting for each heat would have also helped.
I can’t believe we’re already done with 9 events, this Marble League has been really nice! SPOILERS: Congrats to the Snowballs for another gold medal, and even though we lost the lead, good job Velocity! Unlucky contact in the semis screwed up your momentum but you still managed to get third in the heat, and fifth overall in the event. Only two points behind the Bumblebees! We need these good finishes to get our momentum back! #Speediskey
Spoiler! BUMBLEBEES ARE BACK IN THE LEADDDDDDD! Stinger kills this event every time! 4th, 3rd, and now 2nd! Go Bumblebees 🐝 #BumbleRumble #BringTheSting
The speeders got a minor setback today but we can afford 1 or 2 setbacks. We are still really consistant and doing well. Velocity gave his best today and thats all we can ask for. As i watched the thunderbolts today though, all i could say to my wife(team galactic fan) was, its got to be tough being a thunderbolts fan this season...
@@RazvanMihaeanu Refraction of light is distorted due to the water, so it looks like Frozen hit the line first. However, if you look again at the "photo finish" result, the O'Ranger's marble is slightly more over the line.
I know this is nitpicking, but p1 had such a huge advantage in this race. Every single start, p1 had 1st through the first 3 turns and every p1 made it (with the exception of yellup who crashed a wall hard) into the top 2 every round. Idk it just seems like an oversight specifically with this track design. It could just be that they were better, but including the show round, its kinda crazy the lead p1 always had
Greg noted multiple times that this was a timed event. Not sure I understand how the first round's fifth fastest marble gets knocked out while the thirteenth fastest makes it to the next round and the eleventh ultimately takes the gold.
I would like to see more timed events, or maybe some kind of qualification process (for heats and semis) as in the Olympic, where from 4 runs we got 4 Q (capital Q) winners of each run and 4 q (small Q) with the 4 of the best times through all runs from places 2-4? And from two semis - also 2x Q and 2x q? It might create a more levelled ground as sometimes there are more difficult runs and 3rd place might be a better time than winner in other heat but unfortunately is not qualified for later rounds.
it's strange because Greg said this was a timed event and the in video description said fastest marble wins so I was expecting Galactic to finish 5th and was confused when they had semifinals and finals. But the video description said the opposite, classic top 2 advance from each heat. That's the way they produced it, so I don't know why Greg and the description were misled.
Nice job to Rojo Cinco for getting 7th place after poor incidents in previous Triathlon event and we see the battle between Blue Eye from Crazy Cat’s Eyes and Rojo Cinco from Rojo Rollers
Crazy finish! However, I earnestly disagree with the scoring decisions made for this event. With all the stress on this being an individual event, why were Galactic placed 10th? They had the 5th fastest time, but got shafted for running in a fast heat. #AdAstra #Buzzerk
I was out but now I'm back! I LOVE the triathlon. So many elements from events like Marble Rally in one. I hope everyone has a good race (Also GO PINKIES) EDIT: Well at least our overall place didn't change.
I was a little worried when I didn't see Snowy in the roster but this should give great confidence to the team! I guess we've found our second M1 runner.
Snowy only gets three events. I was very glad to see Snowstorm, best to save Snowy for the elimination race. And Snowstorm did fantastic!! This should dispel the myth that Snowy is the only competent member of our team(though certainly the best)
Snowstorm ran for them in Season 2. He had some good races, especially in the sand, like we saw here. He has definitely improved, though, and I'm excited to see how they do in the next season.
Snowstorm did compete in M1S2 and made some good moves(especially one in the sand), but he usually drop pace in the last laps and couldn't keep the position.
@@傅傅-z2r Snowstorm only qualified for 3 races that season and the o'raceway was the only instance of snowstorm dropping pace in the last laps, unable to retain their spot.
I am once again complaining about the "top two move on" format for these timed events. This time, it's even worse as the commentator said that moving on was based on time, yet in actuality, it was the same format as in the other events.
As a Savage Speeders fan and a Midnight Wisps fan, semis was PAIN. Literally both of them getting knocked and losing all momentum during the race. Just happy Savage Speeders were still fast enough to secure a good spot.
Spoilers! - - - - - - A medal is a medal and ORANGIN is really the best choice for this race! Great job! Man, that waggle track should be in Marbula 1, the cinematics of the marbles rolling and overtaking just look mesmerizing.
#SpeedIsKey I will always be rooting for the Maroon Speeders but Good God I cannot help but to just admire Bumblebees' winstreaks! I can honestly see just the sheer training they did and the ripe fruits they have picked❤❤
This has been a very painful season for Team Momo. I just wish we could go back to being middle of the pack, but I have to admit it. We are not good and we need to think about a full rebuild.
