Never thought i would see the day of Green Ducks not qualifying for a Marble League, what a tragic moment.

The best part about the friendly round is that it has only 4 teams so Galactic cannot possibly finish 5th. (they instead finished in the closest position to 5th they could lol)

Congrats to the Snowballs! It’s been a few years since we qualified for the main event. They have clearly been training in the off season. This is our year. GO SNOWBALLS!

It's funny how the Snowballs and Thunderbolts both needed absolute hero performances in the last Showdown event last year to not be relegated, and now they both dominated the qualifiers Also Momo is back yay o7 Green Ducks, you will be missed this year Turtle sliders man… I had so much hope for them after that first event

Being a Limers fan is endless suffering, but I will suffer until I am their only fan left 💚💚💚

Beautiful work by Mo in the funnels, carefully keeping contact with the others in that last funnel. It looks so precarious but Mo is using that friction to swing to the outside and then take the little bump from a competitor falling through to lengthen their own orbit. Absolutely masterful, love to see it.

The first event had me worried, but Team Momo didn't let that get to them and did excellently for the rest of the day. Well done!

It was a rough day to be a green team. The Limers, Green Ducks, Jungle Jumpers, and Minty Maniacs all failed to qualify out of their groups, Team Momo was the only green team to qualify for the Marble League this season.

i've been saying this for years, but the entire CCE team needs to be tested for performance enhancers.

The qualifiers weren't a shock, I'm happy we'll get the chance to see Snowballs, Rojo Rollers and Team Plasma, but other than that it's kinda an all-stars season, so I think it's a pretty solid 16 teams

I still can't believe I'll sit and watch a half hour of marbles racing! I never knew this could be so enthralling. Jelle you and your team provide an astonishing competition that has kept me glued to the screen for years. Thank you for this fabulous work!!! Go O'Rangers!!!

Firstly I want to say that this grandmother is absolutely squealing with excitement over the start of the new Marble League competition! To Jelle and team, the construction of the arena, the high-quality design (I mean, that literal hive-shaped "wall" must have taken an age to create!), and anything else you can mention is of the highest order. I cannot praise you enough for the thought, time and effort involved in bringing the best event online to life. Mikos' background music is perfect for describing the action, giving "depth" to the broadcast and despite being the last thing most people think about, much like film & TV music, having it really makes all the difference. We'd definitely miss it if it wasn't there! Listening to it on his own channel, you will be stunned by the extremely high quality of this essential but often overlooked part of any such event. Of course, having one of the best sports commentators in the business in Greg (a while longer and he'll be the Murray Walker of Marble League 😉), is the icing atop this particular delicious cake! Why he isn't part of the F1 or other sports commentary team (that I know of) is not at all understandable. Spoliers↓ ↓ I was on the edge of my seat (which isn't advisable as my seat is a bed nearly as high as a barstool and I've been known to fall off it. I'm disabled, not drunk! 🤣). My two teams, the O'rangers & the Crazy Cats Eyes, being in the same group did not do anything for my nerves! But thankfully they're both through! Now I'll be a nervous wreck throughout the upcoming weeks - I can't wait! 😂 🍊😻👀

Disappointed that Team Primary missed it but glad that O'Rangers were able to squeak into the main field at the very end, and how about SNOWBALLS actually qualifying for the Marble League for the first time ever! Thunderbolts very intentionally waited for group B just for them to dominate by qualifying after 3 events and being the only team with two podium finishes in group B. Tactical masterclass by the coach and amazing execution by the lads.

LETS GO ORANGERS OMG I WAS SO SCARED, THE PAST 2 MARBLE LEAGUE QUALIFIERS HAVE SCARED ME SO BAD, it was really close but we managed to hold firm, im actually shaking a bit over marbles, that was so back and fourth. I was starting to think id have to watch the marble league without them but we ALWAYS make a comeback when its needed, OOOOOOOOOO!

As a Rojo Rollers fan, seeing them qualify is like being an NFL fan who's favorite team is garbage. I know we're not going to do well but it's always great to know that everyone is going to see the trainwreck.

nice, glad to see it up! I've been rooting for Raspberry a long time, and while what I know of them still hasn't been betrayed (good at endurance type rounds), I really gotta give props to Team Plasma for helping us out here in the qualifiers 😂 19:08-19:17 that high speed bump really gave Rezzy the speedboost needed through the last few funnels, but not only that, at 19:42 on the next funnel Plasma slowed down and was trailing Midnight Wisps with direct contact. It seems like in this one there's no real momentum transfer of speed, but instead friction is working against them both, and midnight wisps ended up falling first out of 3. All around I think the performances of all of them are great, but I honestly am starting to see Plasma as a friendly rival I could possibly also root for!

I'm crying many, many chocola-tears. I think perhaps it's time to look at some serious team restructuring - both Choc and Mocha had absolutely EMBARASSING showings this year.

Sucks to see Minty Maniacs fail to qualify. Losing perfect attendance as well. Congrats to the teams who made it this year. Still can’t wait for the Marble League!

Of course I also can't help but mention the shocking (pun absolutely intended) performance of the Thunderbolts today! Marbula One left them with low expectations and a long road ahead, but they've managed to traverse it with gusto!

Man, I used to watch these types of video many years ago but never payed attention to the setup and editing that went into them. Now, years later, having gotten older, more observant, and having done RU-vid as a hobby, holy cow the sheer passion that goes into these videos. It’s a whole darn sport! Haven’t watched these in ages but one popped into my recommendations today and I rewatched out of curiosity. Needless to say, I’m definitely sticking around for the 2023 Marble League. I remember finding this channel a little over a year ago I think, baffled that such a thing as Marble Sports could exist. I've been an avid fan ever since. I fell in love with this series.

While I am sad that my favorite team, Jungle Jumpers, didn’t make it, I can definitely say I’m glad that the Gliding Glaciers and Rojo Rollers did. Looking forward to the League and next year’s qualifiers for the Jumpers.

Absolutely relieved that my beloved O'Rangers were able to recover from that disastrous start in the final event and qualify, but a little sad that it came at the expense of the Jungle Jumpers, who I've always rooted for as an underdog team. Also, I bet Team Galactic was happy there was only four teams in the friendly so that they couldn't find a way to finish 5th somehow 😂

I love these events! I'm the biggest fan of the Raspberry Racers, when I was like 7 I refused to watch the Marble League 2016 (back then it was marblelympics) because I was devastated the didn't get in! But this time they persevered #RR I am also a huge fan of the black jacks and purple rockets! Which I know is basically setting my self up for failure as I don't remember the last team either team got in! I was almost crying when Purple Rockets were SO SO close to making it, 7th place! I'm sure they'll get them next year! With the black jacks, there really isn't much hope, but I still dream!

So happy to see the Canadian Snowballs doing well. I've missed them when they haven't competed.
