Blue Moon put everything into their opening but fell victim to overconfidence, leading to grasshopper taking the win. A tragedy for fans of blue moon, hoping to see them gain their first win, but as a hopper fan, I’m very happy.
Great to see those B league marbles getting a good slice of the action, too. It's a great track with interesting obstacles, especially the catch basin and the zig zag walls section.
LETS GO!!!! Love seeing Blue Moon have such a strong start. Been a fan of them since they first showed up and finallly seeing them get out of B-League is such a blast.
I am so thankful for these races and events and different leagues of marble races. I sincerely hope that they never stop and year after year i can keep cheering on my favorite racers and teams with my wife until the day i die:-) these races and leagues have actually brought my wife and i much closer together in love and time spent together. Thank you Jelle and everyone else who helps put these shows on. You really have created something very special. I love you guys. And to Greg Woods, there is never going to be another announcer that i will ever accept as the marble race announcer:-)
Every marble bringing their A-Game by actually finishing their race! Great for Blue Moon to have a podium finish in the A-League while Green Turtle gets a W in the B-League!
I loved all the fun landmarks along the track! They give the route life and more interesting than just beige roads. I like all the different bridges and tunnels you did too!
As a Comet fan, I didn't watch last season after the DNQ, and WOW I was shocked to look back at last season's points and find out that RN3 finished dead last.
This was a really exciting race! Lots of interestng elements to the track, especally the multiple splits! I was thinking that one element that would be cool would be a buried funnel leading to a pipe. It would really throw a wrench into the order hahahaha.
As a long time Grasshopper Fan I was there during the dark ages where we didn’t qualify for what felt like many many dark years. I was forced to watch my beloved grasshopper fail at the last moment in some easy groups never seeing a gold. I am proud to say that this season is Grasshoppers season!

It's awesome to have the Marble Rally back! I do want to ask, though; will there be music like the previous seasons at any point? It really adds to the races!
They have a lot of races to do this year. The music will come. Crowd noise is an okay substitute. This race needed to drop today because of Formula 1 tomorrow.
I don't know how I never really took notice before of the sounds of the marbles making contact with each other. Nice effect, especially when combined with that catch basin, made for a rain sounding effect.
After B01 watch: Wow, green turtle and cool moody dominated that race! Good job green turtle! Poor ghost marble 👻 I think that any marble that finishes after ghost marble should either lose one point or get one second added to their finishing time. If not it’s cool 😎
Green Turtle should change his name back to Super Turtle so he can probably qualify for the next season. It’s hard to be a fan of him! But ecstatic to see him win his first ever race!!
You need to put some smooth walls up in the starting block so the marbles on the sides don’t have such a disadvantage getting shoved into the sand wall right away.
I agree with that. I think for 20 competitors, a more suitable scoring system could have been - 1st = 25 pts 2nd = 22 pts 3rd = 20 pts 4th = 18 pts 5th = 16 pts 6th = 15 pts And then from there, 1 point separating every position down to 20th = 1pt.
@@insanerocks120 Oh right, I didn't realise that. Thanks! Although I'd prefer a greater reward between 15th & 20th, I guess one thing this chosen scoring system does is make it more rewarding to simply finish a course, with quite a lot of non-finishers in previous races.
Ok, physics and probability question: assume the marbles are of equal size, weight, and composition...aside from collisions, what accounts for faster vs. slower finishes?
