Also make sure you are using OIL BASED CANDY COLOR. If you use regular color for icing, it will cause your chocolate to seize. Also an alternative to the liquor to turn the gold dust to paint, you can use lemon extract. Alternatives to the coconut oil are vegetable shortening or paramount crystals!
@@lynn3186 I know I wish! 😂. But gel isn't made for chocolate mixing. It will cause your chocolate to seize. But an alternative is just buying precolored candy melts. And just drizzling that color chocolate into the white chocolate. That way you dont have to used oil candy color at all!
One recommendation so you don’t have to “pick a side” is have a piece of long foam on the side and stick em in with the toothpicks so they can dry without a flat side 💁🏻♀️
Hello everyone! I see a few questions on if the color gives it a bitter taste. If the berry has a large concentrated amount of color on it, you will taste some bitterness from it. However if you use less amount of color, you won't taste any! So when you squeeze in the color you can do 2 things to help with that. Either not pour in so much color, or, you can precolor some chocolate, then squirt that into the white chocolate. It will give you the same effect without the taste! The first time I tried this, I used a ton of color and was like whoa! 😂. In this video I ate these same berries and I didn't taste any bitterness, so try not to squeeze in so much color into the chocolate! But to be on the safe side, just precolor your chocolate and drizzle that into the white chocolate! Hope this helps! 😁
Yes! So instead of squirting the food color directly into the white chocolate for the marble effect, you can set aside some white chocolate and color it purple or pink, whichever color you pick. Then drizzle that colored chocolate into the white chocolate, and do the same technique with twirling the berry. That way it's not a concentrated amount of food color getting on the berry. Or you can buy the precolored chocolate.

If you gently flick them side-to-side right after dipping, you won't have so much extra candy that ends up making a bulky base. Just wanted to share. THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL!! 🤩🤤

I would use a styrofoam board to stick the strawberries in so you dont get a flat spot , the foam board will allow them to dry standing straight.....loving this video
Your strawberries are so clean! I always see RU-vidrs who still have dirty seeds. I don’t think they know what color strawberry seeds are. They’re definitely not black though. 🤦🏽♀️
