How is this guy not more famous? I saw him in both Eastenders (I'm not usually into soaps but I was intrigued when I heard there would be a storyline involving a gay Muslim character, which was pretty groundbreaking for TV) and Holby City and I've been blown away by each of his performances. Pretty impressive how he managed to go from one of the most endearing characters to one of the nastiest. There aren't that many actors who can pull off the complete opposite of what they did before so convincingly. What strikes me particularly when I compare Syed and Isaac's characters is how different Marc's entire body language and mannerisms are. I think he has a really unique versatility. I've read that he struggled to find new roles after Eastenders as soap actors are often kind of "looked down on" in general. Such a shame because I think he's really part of these underrated actors with a strong potential and could make it big with a bit of luck (and perseverance). If only he moved to the States... There would be more interesting opportunities for him, especially as an actor of color (well, Hollywood may not be famous for its racial diversity, but mentalities are changing progressively and producers/writers/directors become more and more aware of the importance of inclusiveness in media and this is reflected on many TV shows/movies we've got here now). He may very well be satisfied with his work in the UK but I can't help but find it frustrating to see an actor that talented not getting to find bigger projects as I would love to see him gaining more recognition. At any rate, count me as a new fan Mr. Elliott, will gladly follow your career anywhere you end up!

He has kids and a big family he can’t really focus on having a twitter and insta and all that just to reply to his fans all the time. little kids still recognise him to this day as they asked for autographs and selfies when i was with him.
I really don't know how to react to Marc's new character on holby, I was sooooo use to seeing his sweet, caring, loving character like syed, but instead were got a real bunny boiler in the making!!!!! Lol 😂 #marcelliottisstillhot
Totally dislike the character of Isaac. My sister was murdered in a domestic homicide so these scenes are very difficult to watch. I love Holby so I hope Isaac's character is gone for good now.
