You might kill me for saying this, but if Marc has the time, he should create/join a japanese metal band. This style fits him A LOT. Of course i don't want him to leave DragonForce, it would be just another project, but it could be amazing.

2:20 is a part of his voice we don’t hear often. He’d usually be more in the head voice (not falsetto tho, obv) at this range. More chest voice than usual right there Very cool.
I am digging this. The song is fitting for the anime theme, and it’s amazing both lyrically and musically, especially those solos. And those visuals from Japan… Those take the video to a next level of greatness. Well done, Marc!

great song 🎶 but i find it funny that when a 🎤 singer or a different member of a band do a side project it sounds pretty much like the band they are a part of either a harder or lighter version of the same music ,just my opinion
I really like this. The lyrics I think is a tribute to Japan as this got me thinking of something relating to the lights, the technologies and traditions of Japan, plus those Japanese idol groups with those glowsticks that fans go in sync with them. Marc is just awesome.
I'm all for more Marc... but it's been four years since the last DragonForce Album. That's longest gap between albums the group has ever had. Please, GOD, don't take DragonForce away.
Didn't expect that on Napalm. Reminds me strongly of the Swedish Pop/Rock-Proggers of A.C.T. Which isn't too bad, imho... 😁 And they are quite big in Japan...
Even the "purist metalheads" disapprove of this. I was never a purist myself so I really love what Marc is doing here, experimenting new sounds and elements, as a musician myself, I love that.
Ooff. Someone tell whoever mixed this to ease up on the pitch correction next time. Not that it's bad inherently, don't get me wrong. But the high notes are painfully artificial sounding, especially in the verses.
