Marc Jacobs | Fall Winter 2022/2023 | Full Fashion Show in High Definition. (Widescreen - Exclusive Video/1080p - New York City) #Marcjacobs #FW22 #FFLikedalot Nigel Hess - Reminiscences/Tender Moment/Postcards/Cherished
sorry, but the show looks like a costume audition for a video of lady gaga in a version of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" without painkillers. They don't look like fashionable dresses, they are gala costumes.
Raf Simon's nurse uniforms + Rick Owen's Gothic grunge + Martin Margiela's exaggerated shapes. It's like Marc Jacobs no longer knows who he is anymore.
Some wonderful ball gowns, interesting exotic fabrics, wonderful colors. The music very mournful, and some of the clothes appeared oversized, the day wear reminded me of what an up Upper class person in old USSR would wear (yes even communists could not destroy elitism). Maybe Marc was sensitive to the dreary oppression of the pandemic. Some of the casual pieces looked like surgical scrubs, very comfortable if not pretty, for sure practical solutions to living in a pestilent world where quick clean changes are de rigor. I love Marc Jacobs for the witty humor he manages to inject in his designs, clothes that smile and elicit compliments. His clothes are fun to wear, but this collection had a different mood. He is being realistic, while I want escapist wardrobe.
Who is letting designers get away with this?? No sane person would wear these if they were the last clothes on earth. Except for that one sparkly black dress which was about a half-slay but the bar is so low here that it works ig lmao
surprise baby fashion shows are not made for people to wear they are made to express ideas and creativity, plus to make fashion trends for the season, like the blue you see on the first model to walk is gonna be one of the only vibrant colours trend this season
@@marcelaalcantara8219 I mean girlboss ig but idk what idea a dress that looks like a sleeping bag + a caterpillar is meant to express other than "I have no clue what I'm doing and I'm running out of ideas" lmao
If I didn’t read the title that it’s Marc Jacobs’, I would have thought that this collection is collectively designed by first year students of Central Saint Martins.
Marc Jacobs is this type of a designer, who doesn't have his own unique style. If I see a garment of his, i couldn't tell it is by him. he just soaks and copies whatever others create.
This is such a ridiculous collection! This is what we revert to after a pandemic? What do people really wear? How can we make that interesting, luxe, creative, and yes, wearable...(question and statement). I used to live for Marc Jacobs at Perry Ellis and the beginning of his eponymous line. What happened?
@@marshallsmith750 what happens is you become a billionaire, and then you can create, copy, plagiarize, produce whatever you want without concern for monetary concern. It just becomes an artistic opportunity.
When I first saw this collection I immediately thought what a waste of talent, not only is this very unattractive to the human woman's figure, but I thought at first I was looking at a student collection, not the caliber of a Marc Jacobs. I find trashbag clothing and the use of over excess of fabric and synthetic plastics not only harmful to the world but harmful to Fashion. I did see some of the beauty in this collection but alsoI found this collection very derivative as if he has lost his footing. Mr. Jacob's is an extremely talented individual . Please Mr. Jacob's do better.
I tried to like this but could not. I am always amazed that designers want models that weigh about what they weighed at birth and then put 100 lbs of clothes on them. In the big picture this design house does not care what I think but with so much competition for designer clothes dollars, I would think a bit more thought might be needed in the designs.
Marc Jacobs had made all his money already. He no longer needs to design clothes to sell, but to push fashion as far as he can. Either that, or he's just fucking with us.
Thank you FF Channel teenage fashion Marc Jacobs interesting for simbiosy ancient is modern. To use material news plastic is modern shoe to give joy is lightness. Marc to undertake the road of the experimentation is intuitive who the truth in absolute not existing......... Yours sincerely Sig.Baldassare Alessi
It makes me cry, incredible clothes, best catwalk that I have ever seen in years. Marc Jacobs so unsurpassed designer in New York fashion week, really was great
@@danielefm9965 No, I'm not. But do you? A. And in your opinion, what is the best fashion show of recent times? B. What's New York Fashion Week's best stylist of actual generation?
Imagine wearing that stuff yourself. Would you still think they are great outfits? Imagine having to go pee. Where would you start? And how about real walking on the streets wearing those what, 20 inches platforms?
@@mariaroca5762 Conceptual fashion is about fantasy. Your arguments serve to criticize several acclaimed catwalks of all the "great" fashion brands. Your idea isn't absolutely wrong, but you though don't understand the majors: aesthetic, passion, creativity. What is your fashion elements and sense of relevance? To me the triviality makes me so tired, i'm busy.
@@ThyegoCabralMy opinion, not a personal attack and don't assume that I don't understand the "majors" (?) aesthetic, passion and creativity. I hold a MFA and I have been in the "creativity, aesthetic, passion" field for over 20 years. You see, my son likes baroque whereas I like abstract art. His opinion and likes. My opinion and likes. And, being able to go pee comfortably: not a triviality.
As a fan of Rick Owen and his aesthetic, I don't want to agree with you, but I have to agree with you. This is like the haute couture version of Rick Owens--still abstract, but elevated, luscious (great description), and even luxurious.
How does the audience keep a straight face with those horrendous outfits going by? Trash bags, giant sweaters and laundry bags, tin foil hats, babushka's, ridiculous shoes, doilies. I would fall off my chair laughing hysterically.
His work surly gives off suttle sultry idk what you’re talking about. It’s very high fashion goth vibes. He is even plays with pastel goth vibes at one point in the show case. 💀💖
@@user-ui1qw5em4d Or it could be that people are entitled to their own opinions and it’s okay if we all don’t like the same things or . I’m feel sorry for you because either you don’t understand or accept that.
Hoowhee..y'all kno' ol' Marc put inside them 'Lurch' boot/shoe dealios..a 911 number to call when ya' bust yer' ankle in'em..an' ain't ol' Marc abou' 80 sompun'?
What a NIGHTMARE!!!! I think all of "this "deserves the attention of the psychiatrists. This type of people need serious help and to be kept far away from the society, for some time. Even forever.
😳😣 How incredibly unattractive these clothes are. I mean, just atrocious! Some designers of today are more interested in being the shock jocks of the fashion world. Yes, you can wear these clothes…but why would you ever want to.
Garbage bag dresses? Really?..dark dystopia. Like after the WWIII. Digging through trashy heaps to make clothes for the ball. It made me sick watching it. What a waste of talent and energy
