Farewell Marc Jacobs. Thanks for all those incredible collections you made for our enjoyment and best of luck with your MARC JACOBS and MARC BY MARC JACOBS collections!
OMGGGG THAT Production DESIGN is justtt wowowowowow!!! this takes me to the opulence of dior galliano days... sooo EPIC!!!! this could also top Chanel runway shows... great job marc!
Its so Sad...Really a big Error to leave but I wish him the Best and The stage was very Gorgeous and A mix of his recent shows! Hope he not regret this choice..
Quite excentric...I thought I was in Las Vegas...besides the makeup I dont' think there was enough sand or dust there to consider the seance Arizona...hehe...nor New Mexico..while the background is quite dubious. Very interesting....!!
MAGNIFICENT BIRDS! I MISS HIM SO BAD! HIS OWN LABEL SOMEHOW LOST IT'S SHINE! I THINK PARIS REALLY INSPIRED HIM TO CREATE AMAZING COLLECTIONS AND SINCE HIS LEFT THE CITY AND THE MAISON, I HONESTLY DON'T SEE I LOT OF HIS WORK OUT THERE SHINNING LIKE THAT! WHAT AN AWFUL DECISION DEAR MARC, WHAT AN AWFUL DECISION!
Hi. I don’t know if you ever found the answer to your question, but the soundtrack is indeed Philip Glass. It’s from ‘Visitors’ soundtrack. Worth a listen. It’s a beautiful soundtrack.
To be honest, I thought she would wear the first outfit publically. The second I saw it, I instantly saw it on Gaga. (Well, that is, I would wear it if I were her.)
I see your point! She is never one to flash labels, even though she is famous for wearing Alexander McQueen. She dresses luxuriously, yet with secrecy. "I get to wear LV, but I'm not gonna have the signature print tattooed on my body" so to speak. :)
No high heels? No dresses (real dresses)? Seriously? And what the heck was that at the begining? Not to say that those things on top of the models´ heads made them look short. The set and the music saved this show. I hope Galliano´s going to come to LV.
The set is too elaborate for the clothes | And how many times are we gonna see Look No. 1? (That girl kept coming back on. Even though she'd more than done her walk-through.) Memo To LV Show Producer: If I thought it stank the 1st time...I'll think it stinks the 5th time. So bother to keep sending her back on. (Poor girl.)
Why are you here if you find this boring, do not attempt to transition into the fashion world with your basic needs. High fashion is not for the basics, its obvious you're ordinary, don't hate on the extraordinary please ;(
Tymber Newton I was here to see haute couture and not Cirque du Soleil...Although I am sure you would love to wear any of these creations...this crap is a dog and pony show for those who value sensationalism over beauty, design, and wearability.
Dabney Fountain This is art. It does not take one form. Personally, I thought there was too much going on, but have respect for the vision. You don't have to like it, but that doesn't mean you have to be rude about it either. Btw, this is haute couture. It's not all about wearability. Lots of haute couture isn't even made to sell.
kyrababieee914 There is haute couture and there is circus noir. For haute couture I refer you to Valentino, Gucci, Cavalli,Dior for example..............this show should be titled "Zombie's spring/summer break at the Bates Motel." I agree...this isn't about wearability...not about spring...not about art either. Somebody just forgot to take their antidepressant meds..
Dabney Fountain Lol. Like I said I'm not a fan either, but I guess I just try to respect the fact that they weren't afraid to go to that space and that fashion designers are artists who use this as a form of self expression. If something is made really well & I don't like it I just chalk it up to not being my taste. I could see if this was a ready to wear runway then I'd find it totally inappropriate, but I think this is ok for haute couture. If you can get past the theme then you'd see some nice pieces in there. There are some that are totally unwearable, but once again not all haute couture pieces are made to sell and are made purely for art. I respect your opinion though, we just have different perspectives :) Have a good one mate.
