Ok. I was on a website about Walmart's release of "what a long strange trip it's been"...like a 5-hour movie. There was a gentleman there whose sole purpose in life was to make everyone understand that he hated the dead and the dead heads and the music and the lifestyle and everything about it. He was quite vocal and kind of really upset the vibe I was looking for at the time. As this went on it occurred to me exactly what type of individual we are dealing with. First of all, why would you take time out of your day to exclusively venture to a place you don't like and burn your energy to make others understand that you dont like them. I mean, What kind of maschochistic self loathing fool would spend his time to particularly go to a place he despises to spend time making others understand his hatred? Wouldn't you rather go to a website that you like and enjoy the things that you like there instead of wasting your time and my time listen to your trying to understand why you don't like something. Hatred consumes the hater. if u don't like something...avoid it..and focus your energy towards something that you like. Whose opinion would Garner any value of someone who spends their time submerging themselves in the place of their own hatred ? Utter baffonery
Well, with that approach...every band should have someone who does not like them. Saying that the hatred stems from just their Style does not hold water. Hatred can come from anywhere ... like my hatred for your music
