Marc Marquez’ BIG 2024 decision! 🤔 | 2023  

I think it would be very interesting for the fans to see Marc on a different bike. He is a Top Rider and deserves to have a bike, he can push to the limit. But without him, it will be difficult for Honda the next years. It took a lot of time for Ducati to get to the front and I think Honda will have the same situation Ducati had, when Casey Stoner left the team.

The best thing would be Marc on a factory KTM fighting against the Ducatis.

Ducati with various factory team names including Gresini is indeed fast this year, unlike Honda and Yamaha, but riding a new horse is not an easy thing, everything will start with something new, paddock atmosphere, team, history, motorbike adjustments, it could be said that Marc moved to Gresini will not ensure smooth or Better

I would be devastating for Honda if they lose him...but idk what else that can make him convinced to stay, if not because the contract and of course their long-last relation. Fabio also on the high possibility to leave yamaha, probably going to aprilia (or even ducati who knows), damn japanese factory situation is not looking good at all for next 1-2 seasons, especially if they lose their stars rider, like Fabio and Marc.

The younger guys are so fast now , unless he changes bikes for next year he will be to late to catch up . I can’t wait to see what he can do on a Ducati

It will be weird to see him riding with a ducati...Marc and honda achieved so much success and hard times together.

I would love for Marc to stay. Since that 2013 win I always view him as the saviour of Honda. If he stays I will forever applaud his loyalty to that team. I don't need to see him on another bike...just him riding that bike with impeccable talent proves to Me that he is one of the greatest pilots I have ever seen... I bet if Marc were to have practiced driving instead...He could have beaten Lewis or even Max now....Heck, I think even Kalle Rovanpera. Lol. I love watching him ride a bike... so so amazing. This year it's Marc and Fabio and Toprak makes Me want to ride a bike and spend money on tracks and some unnecessary squid things. LMAO.

The right move for his career would be to leave. But, I want him to stay. I can see Honda pulling out of the sport altogether if they don't find success soon, and not having the best rider onboard will make that decision easier.

These are my opinions about the Marc-Repsol Honda-Gresini Ducati drama: The Good: - Jumping ship to Ducati means that Marc may have saved his rapidly declining career. - Ducati's lineup is stronger than ever, even if Marc is on a satellite bike. - As we know he is one of the most talented riders in the MotoGP grid, he will adapt to the Bologna Bullet in a short time. The Bad: - Honda may be unwilling to let Marc go despite Marc's increasing dissatisfication towards them. - Marc's departure to Ducati next year means it will be a huge loss for Honda. - Honda will be at the absolute bottom of the MotoGP manufacturer food chain if he indeed ends up leaving the said manufacturer. The Mixed Bag: - Judging from his recent run of results since Misano, there's still a possibility that Marc will decide to stay at Honda so to start over from scratch. But on the flip side, those good run of results may not be a convincing factor for him to stay at the said manufacturer. The Ugly: - Many hypocritical MotoGP fans will suddenly make a U-turn and say that MotoGP is exciting if Marc ends up joining Ducati for real.

In my opinion, i would prefer see him on a non Ducati bike i guess that will be more interesting. Just because people kept complaining that it is a "Ducati Cup". Anyways, at the end of the day every bike is different. Different riders have different strength and weaknesses. Will see how he does on a new bike if he really moves.

I wanna see Honda drop the hammer hardcore and go balls deep on R&D and Aero and just build a bike that slaughters the competition. In the twilight of his career MM goes ahead and shows the world how goddam serious the Japanese are about MotoGP!

While Marc is absolutely milking this: It will no doubt be a big decision. Say what you want about him, but he has proven that he is one of the all time greats in two wheeled racing. If this was a factory seat, then it would be an absolute no brainer. But even though its a satellite seat - Its a Ducati which has been the best bike for the last couple of seasons now. Should he leave, he'll have to adapt to a new bike which won't be much of a problem since ridability is something the Ducati does well and it does a lot for the brand as well and he'd be a championship contender, maybe not immediately but he will be up there with podiums and potentially race wins. Honda should be afraid at this point in time, because if he leaves... they really don't have a lead rider that will replace him as they are very limited with their options for replacing him, with the riders coming to my head being (Lecuona, Nakagami, Bradl). Yes its a factory Honda, but it's currently the worst bike in the field. Mir has had decent pace but his crashing always throws away important points, Rins left to go to Yamaha after winning a GP and being there for less than a year. Perhaps they could promote Nakagami and bring Ai Ogura into the Idemitsu bike is my immediate thought. Honda has had exceptional talent, but now have been carried single handedly by Marquez since about 2019. And even when riding through injury, he's constantly the best of the Hondas, losing a talent like that will leave Honda almost hilariously exposed.

It would be great if he adapts well and can get a double podium with his brother. thats very lovely. also part of me wants him to stay with honda as they had a long lasting relationship. its very hard to break that. and also, this is a cheeky one. i want him to be in the KTM. since he is a red bull rider, he may have chance there and who knows, ktm may have constant podiums and fight with ducati & aprilia

If he does go to Gresini, you'd have to assume Zarco gets shuffled to the main Honda factory team and then LCR take one of Chiantra, Vierge, Lecuona. If only there was still 12 teams on the grid. Maybe eventually Dorna allow KTM to run their Husqvarna brand alongside GasGas

If he does leave Honda, he's essentially admitting he can't win unless he has the best bike on the grid. 8 time world champion not because of the rider, but because of the bike.

The wheel spins, sometimes the bottom becomes the top and vice versa. In the past, Japanese manufacturers were the best first choice, especially Honda, and European manufacturers were the last choice. Now everything is the opposite. Marquez is by far the best rider on the grid at the moment. If he gets on a Ducati he’ll be like Bautista in WSBK. Pretty much unbeatable. I’d love to see it, bet the other Ducati riders don’t want to see it and especially Rossi and his team

The current Motogp scenario is pretty simple, to beat a Ducati for a world championship title, you need to be on another Ducati bike. I can't see that you can win a championship on a Honda or Yamaha or even KTM or Aprilia. Only Ducati has the perfect recipe for success. At least for another couple years time. At least that's what is seems like.

Honda and Yamaha need to get serious and catch up with Ducati.

It is OFFICIAL: Marquez to Ducati. He will have his choice of the 2024 factory machine or the 2023, while brother Alex is limited to the 2023 model only. A one year contract with a factory ride extension option for 2025.

He will move to F1

So, finally, where does Marc go? For me, after such an illustrious career at Honda, why go to a satellite ride at this stage of the game? If he stays, he could have a hand in developing the new bike, and making it a winner again.
