From opera to pop voice, from male to female vocal registers. Absolutely amazing. He has a breath control and support that's awesome, he doesn't strain with none of the notes and there are low and high notes in both male and female registers he switches back and forth that are hard to hit pitch perfectly as he does. What a technique and talent.

Agreed jake suLLy. I've watched a video where they clip parts of a Celine Deon-Andrea Bocelli performance of this song interspersed with Marcelito, and often, if you aren't looking you can't tell the difference.

The style in which he sings known locally as "Doble Kara" or Double Face. It is quite common in the country, but very few sound as great as Marcelito in both registers. He first gained fame after his audition for the 2011, Pilipinas Got Talent, which he won with this song. He's had quite a few private party and event performances, as well as landing a gig on noon time television. Unfortunately, he was never given the real break he deserves. Doble Kara is still considered a novelty style in the Philippines, and performers are rarely given opportunities. My hope is that this performance of his on Wish, would give the international music community an interest in Marcelito, and gives him the chance to go global. Thank you for the reaction Dan. If Marcelino is fair-skinned and look like a model he will be given a break... But most Filipinos are super-facial and having a really good looks especially if it is a half-lings he will be marketable...
Apparently used to be a "balut" vendor...and went to school up to grade 3 only.. At that grade practically no English introduction yet...and he's singing Italian and English languages here. He's AMAZING! His Andrea Bocelli part so beautiful and gives chills....
