Dear Musicians, Please if you are playing in an Ensemble with a Lute or something like that, for example like barock Guitar or Theorbe, let the Lute be heared. Because it is so, that we can not hear Lute . i think if a Lute plays, you are not forced to have the Harpsichord playing. It is unfortunately almost always the same, the beautiful sound of the Lute is overwhelmed by more powerful instruments, and as Result we can't hear the Lute, it is such a pity ( i am not a Lute player, i guaranty you that, i play Oboe). And i guaranty you that if the Lute is to hearing, it sounds really different, and more like paradise, let the Lute be heared please🙏🌷❤
On professional records usually it is heard well. And here I can hear it very well.The problem is usually in concert... but the trick with lute is to let it sound in quiet places then the ear catches it and begins to hear it. But usually it is up to lute player to invent these fill-ins. And also environment should be appropriate: small hall preferably.
En la época barroca la flauta alto fue la más utilizada como instrumento solista y para el virtuosismo, aunque encontrarás también muchas piezas para la soprano, en esa y otra épocas. Surely you are aware these are recorder sonatas so just like if it were a Beethoven violin sonata the violin would be prominent however Beethoven usually composed for Sonata for Violin AND Piano so they both had their moments to shine.
