Luta entre Marcelinho Garcia vc Rico Rodrigues. Marcelinho mostrando seu Jiu-Jitsu de alto nível para superar um adversário mais pesado, mais forte! Mas o Jiu-Jitsu salva sempre!
I know. Instead of doing that slam he could just learn to be better at Jiu Jitsu that way he might have actually won 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼...but hey what do I know...
IMHO it should be legal (although I think it's illegal), you see in future matches, when MG has someone's back while they're standing he puts his feet against the back of their knees, making this impossible.
Legendary performance by the best in the world, displaying how proper technique and training can accomplish the greatest of achievements. Marcello, GOAT, warrior.
Caique Angelo slamming is legal under adcc rules. From takedown or position. Not from submission. If Marcelo would have been choking Ricco it would have been illegal
Damn, that's what happens when some meat head who (compared to Marcelo and what I saw) doesn't know much more than a white belt would tried to do Bjj with nothing but strength. What a sad display at a competition level.
just getting into watching this sport, i find it very interesting but know very little. here from JRE ep. I cannot understand the finishing move. How does that heel hook make him win because it doesnt really look like something happened to me. Just curious, thank you for your knowledge
Well the heel hook made Garcia win because Rico chose to tap to it. You can choose to tap to whatever you want. The ref will only stop it if you are choked out, or in some tournaments if you are clearly severely injured. The reason why Rico chose to tap to this is because a heel hook twists the shin by applying a torque at the heal. Garcia’s legs held the thigh bone from spinning so the knee is being twisted apart. If you don’t tap you may tear any or all of the ligaments in your knee.
I don't know adcc absolute division rules but in most tournaments spiking someone is illegal, they should have taken a point but he had 0 points up on the scoreboard lmao
No he isn’t he bitched out when he got slammed if that match continued after the slam your goat would have been submitted the only Elohim is yeshhua hamasisacth
3:24 I do not understand why they are booing when RR slams Garcia on his back, he should have done this loooong time ago, that is the Best way to get rid of a flea on One's back...!!!!???!!! Unless it is against the rules....,Then J.Jitsu is really Useless anywhere but in clubs and competitions...! Well Done Rodrigues...!!!!!!!
You’re confusing sport bjj and street bjj, it´s an elementary distinction, do your research - plus, given your argument, why would you congratulate Rodrigues? this is a competition setting, not a street fight.
Another "jui jitsu won't work on me " guy. This is the type who goes to his first jj class, throws up after the warm ups, gets destroyed by the girls and guys half his size then never shows up again.
I never said" it won't work on me", I'm far from invincible..!! I just say, going voluntarily on the Concrete ground in the streets.. dirty, sometimes with shards of glass or stones, things that can hurt you, cut you ..is Dangerous..!! Also, I've Seen it, two people fighting on the ground, and the surrounding crowd becoming crazy..thirsty for blood, started hitting, kicking the both of them, for the two, to just curl and try to protect themselves..from the raining strikes coming from everywhere..! Last, the Great way, Rodrigues slammed R.R on the canvas, and him getting back up....heeuu I mean sliding on his ass, in his waiting "guard".., in the streets, dude would have had his head split Open..and blood pouring out...!!!
Also .., I've practiced a ton of judo, and Aikido for 4 years, so I'm not ignorant to ground fighting..!!! And, in the streets rules do Not apply; biting, scratching, gouging eyes, pulling hair and ear, kicking in the genitals Are All Allowed... In these conditions bjj is less than recommended..!
The fight wasn't fair because the little guy used too many techniques instead of being a man and just using brute strength. Had that been the case, the big guy would have won. Therefore the big guy should have won. The big guy won!!!!
@@alexkosta2535 Uhhhh, no you slobbering slug. Techiniques are for wimps because they know they can't win through strength. If you're any kind of a man, you only use strength, but I guess someone like YOU wouldn't know, would you? Oh, and Matheus Guterres agrees with me.
