I remember this guy. He came from Fight Sports Miami (Cyborg's gym.) I never rolled with him personally but I saw several of his rolls and he was a good, in-control training partner. Also Marcelo doesn't go HAM on people in the gym.

What is cool is that from studying the BJJ 101 guard retention materials, watching the ITT collar tie guard retention seminar on YT and buying Ryan Hall’s defensive guard and Jeff Rockwell’s sit-up escape system (recommended by you guys), this roll made total sense to me and I saw what was about to happen.
